Your subscription to my newsletter “Chi Flows Naturally” is confirmed. It will consist of irregular e-letters on the nature of Taoist/Daoist cultivation as it unfolds in the West. I travel a lot, so I only write when I have time and feel spontaneously inspired.
Topics range from discourses on chi kung/qigong, meditation and inner alchemy principles, Daoist sexology, to Chinese medicine, internal arts, history and philosophy. I often comment on the challenge of applying abstract or elusive Tao principles to modern life and politics (all view points welcome!). There is also news of summer retreats, trips to China, special offers on Tao Home Study audio-video courses, and my USA and international teaching schedule.
You or your friends can access my Way of the Inner Smile ebook (25 photos, 130 pages) free at any time by simply re-entering your name in the Tao News subscription box on www.healingtaousa.com (upper left hand corner) and clicking on the Inner Smile link on the confirmation page that pops up.

Thanks for your genuine interest. It is my desire that you easily feel your personal chi flow in harmony with Nature. This will allow you to cultivate greater health, feel the bliss of your inner spiritual nature, and help you to unfold your unique destiny in the outer world.
May the Tao/Dao Smile within Your Heart,
p.s. Don’t be confused by the multiple spellings of Tao/Dao and chi/qi, etc. Both systems of transcription from Chinese to English are correct. Western culture is in transition over which spelling to use, so I still use both to remind people they have the same meaning and usually similar pronunciation. It seems likely that the pinyin system used by modern China (Dao, qigong) will gradually win out in coming decades.
For your information, Tao is pronounced “Dao” (or “dow”), and Chi and Qi are both pronounced “chee”.
