Here’s some simple stuff I’ve been doing lately. Counting breaths. Instead of 1 to 10. I’m counting how many breaths it takes me to drive to work. Walk around the block etc. Because its so easy to lose count after a while, each breath is two count, one for in, two out.
Mentally it clears your mind, physically you breath slower and fuller, I even find my nostrils and sinuses opening wider.
I’m also going into more ‘silent mode’. Turning on the observer more fully. Communicating silently with kids is quite a bit of fun. More gestures, hand motions, you are forced to focus more.
Peace
Michael

My Shing-Yi teacher is also an actor, and one of the funniest people i know. Prompted by his silly company, i’ve had more fun with learning impressions, accents, schtick. 😀
The only persons whose eyes I can really stare into from a few inches is my 6 year old daughters. (unfortunatley it freaks out my wife) You can see her pupils expanding and contracting at the speed of her thoughts.
You can see how her eyes mirror the surroundings.
Peace
