Hi Snowlion and Alex
Thanks for the replies. I really appreciate your insight and clarity in this. What you say really resonates with my core. I guess it is really easy to forget this at times.
I have been studying the Healing Tao on and off for about 15 years, primarily with Mantak Chia. However, it is not until I started working on Michael’s material that things really started moving for me. I guess everyone works in different ways.
Best wishes to you all
Ludrup
Hi Ludrup,
Below is a book you might want to pick up that I have recently bought myself, it is well written and has a nice layout; quite often most books are a let down but this one is very good and is written buy gilles Marin who has expierence with actual teaching and practice of these subjects.
Also check out Leon Hammers book “Dragon Rises, Red Bird Flies his is also an excellent read on “Five Elements of Qi”. Talk to you later… SnowLion
Five Elements, Six Conditions
A Taoist Approach to Emotional Healing, Psychology, and Internal Alchemy
Price: $18.95
Author: Gilles Marin
Five Elements, Six Conditions is one of those very rare books on classical Taoist medicine written from direct teaching and a long personal practice rather than from the scholars studies of limited written material. This important book develops the mental and emotional aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from the Taoist viewpoint of internal alchemy and the Five Elements system in a way that has never been described.
This is an indispensable manual directed to the person who wants to heal emotionally, to the therapist who wants to learn an alternative approach to conventional psychotherapy, and to the holistic health student and practitioner who wants to put the truly traditional back in Chinese medicine. It is authentic, informative, deeply effective, and practical. Clearly written and easily understandable to the lay person with over 40 color-coded illustrations, step by step exercises, and guided meditations.
