walking qigong. lets try it. breathe in for 4 steps* then out for 4 steps. in for 4 steps, out for 4 steps. then try breathing in for 4 steps, hold for 4 steps out for 4 steps empty 4 steps, in for 4 steps, and so on. play with the number of steps and see what you get if you feel comfortable doing 4 step breaths and holds. how you breath (to lower dan tien, solar plexus, bone breathing, skin breathing, is up to you).
* a step is each time you place a foot left (1) right (2) left (3) rigth (4).
i’ll be offline for the next couple of days for travel. looking forward to some interesting posts.
Thank you for sea creature for carrying the ball.
I think of the 100 breath practice as more of testing then regular practice. Its akin to swimmers counting there strokes each length and working to go further, faster and more efficiently with fewer strokes.
I found by the end It took me 15-17 minutes to do the count in my car. While I was about 20 to 22 minutes when seated comfortably with no distractions. I’d like to see those times go up.
Peace
Michael
