Okay, I’ve seen the question come up a few times in other forums, and I’m still curious. Some people seem to think it’s like some sort of permanent accupuncture, but I’m unsure about that one (how far are the needles inserted anyway? Isn’t intention required in most working modalities?).
Strictly physiologically, I know that you end up with colorful lymph nodes, but that’s about it. Overall damage/strain on system is much much less than, say, smoking.
Anyway. I’d love to hear from someone who has tattoos and knows if it effects chi movement/ chi gung at all. Or a healer who has worked with someone with tattoos.
