Hi folks, my name is John Chittenden (I’m new here). Mantak Chia has been one of my stronger influences in the last 14 since I discovered his materials. I am also a long-time student of Mike Patterson (www.hsing-i.com).
I am curious about the upper levels of Tai Chi/Hsing-I practice within the Healing Tao system. Course descriptions mention Tai Chi 3 thru 7, and Hsing-I. Does Master Chia (still) teach these levels? Do any of his students or instructors in the US teach them?
I would anxious to hear from those who have experience in Chia’s system at these levels. Particularly the Hsing-I. Not to be presumptuous or braggish, but Tai Chi 1 & 2 were a breeze for me, coming from my martial arts background.
I would deeply appreciate help on this matter.

The only place you’ll get hsing I, bagua, and higher level martial arts (northern wu taiji) is at the summer retreats at heavenly Mtn. in Norht Carolina.
It’s why I brought in Frank Allen and Tina Zhang – they spend a lot of time in china chasing after lineage holders and have integrated martial arts and spiritual practice. This year there is only 3 bagua retreats, some years they include the hsing yi.

(As tai chi chi kung 2 is a special form for level 2 trainning in tai chi chi kung 1)There is possibility of raw cultivation of dan tien
1. open dan tien
train empty force lower dan tien practice (winn audio course)
but not just energetic start from physical so that the energetic opens
great dan tien strenghtening
2. open hui yin
(open hui yin via hui yin press/release when aroused at awaking or when aroused and exhausted to absorb sexual energy)
3. cultivate dan tien
go asleep and before check to se that kwa is not closed
(that gives the feeling of separation of lower and upper body)
after 1. and 2. one awakes with throbbing dan tien small ball
that means that sexual energy is happening
and aroused

(there is also some issue of sexual/ancestral relationships/intent)How cultivated are your dan tien rotations?
In Chia endorsed system dan tien rotations are after the level 2 which is not necassary.PS: in the world of poison, bribes, law, bombs, guns what is left of divine warriors is divinitation. unless one works for money elitte, mob or government.

I’m having a bit of trouble understanding what you are trying to say.
I thought there were nine levels to Tai Chi Chi Kung I. Easy for me. (it was not always)
I am way past the three steps you mentioned above. (“raw cultivation of dan tien”)
But you mention Dan Tien rotation- energetic or physical, and after level 2 of what?
if you practiced all nine the levels in form 1, why need a special form for each next level, that was the question
this is true for level 1 and 2
though after reviewing the chia site it does state wu, yang cheng fu, sword form etc as higher levels form so that is not totaly allignedtrue it is religious trainning, martial has some more tricks, but internal structure book is top level principles presentation (of religious side of trainning)
after the chia nine levels there is still larger levels beyong our solar system
so what kind of instruction do you seek:
even larger body attunement
finer energy body attunement
martial tactics
nei dan applications…?it is energetic and physical rotations.
you are free to share your secrets of your past and future. just developed some dan tien strenght, that now need to vent/direct to earth down to prevent overheating yin organs while continuing strenght trainning of dan tien and started some emotional energy body trainning (winn animals or oellibrandt sensitivity part of meridian trainning) to facilitate opening toward above, lower dan tien being the center.
you train hsing i five phase elements or twelve animals? how do you connect that to energy trainning like tai chi chi kung 1 levels?
