Hello,
Dear Michael W, please tell us, why do the taoist masters say that if you are able to circulate the qi up the spine and down to the navel, for nine times in a meditation session, you can produce the immortal fetus?
Is it really that simple, or is the MO more that meets the eye?PS: I roamed on other daoist related forums, and came back with wiz and good experience. I missed this forum, am glad to meet you all again.
PPS: Everyone is welcomed to share his oppinion on the matter, and please do.

The body od adept is nature.
Some connect cycles of MO with solar and sun rotation, even forming correspondances.
There is moon. Nine months to birth a incarnate human here. As bellow, so above. Nine moon rotations to birth immortal fetus.
One cycle of sun (1 year) is one rotation. Some (crf nine palace chi kung book Baolin Wu) say it takes nine years to develop immortal self. Again, nine rotations of sun is nine rotation of mo.
So nine moon rotations. Nine sun rotations. Of impeccable ‘pearl’.
That is in linear time. Be that rotations in the now, and it can be ‘just’ nine rotations in meditations.
Nature does it anyway.Thank you!

My intuition tells me it has to be something anyone with decent health, decent mind, and decent emotion CAN DO.
Decent as in = with enough ballance…
There are formulas that are exact recipes…
Maybe the greatest things hide in the little ones…Still open for new insights.

If secret is public, is not necessary not a secret.
Fetus works on causal body work/intent/cultivation, not ego will/capacity.
Dreaming, sleeping is part of cultivation. So is every moment. This then makes rational/conscious alloted practice time just a part of deal and longer periods become normal.
If there is difference between meditation and contemplation practice, that points for skillful contemplation use approach.
MO is balancing the treasures. How it grounds in emotional and mental level is circumstance specific.
True anybody could do it, but no necessary allow it. Challenge is what a pearl is on causal level.
But then there are limits to my transformation of sorcery into alchemy. Alchemy goes well with meditation.Jernej,

I wonder what Winn is looking for in remote China.
People at his level have different priorities.
I hoped i could get an answer from him.
Anyways, what am trying to understand is what is behind this basic practices (that everybody runs away from).
I come to belive that when you understand the basics better, you can get a glimpse at what is beyound.I need to know, how people like Winn, Juan Li, Navarro set up their “study labs”, their fields of research. What are they nosing for. I see Winn goes to China quite often, but how about the others. And what do they study there.
Am sure there is a lot of work involved in understanding the formulas One Cloud passed on to us…Little1
