I stumbled accross this film. After reading the explorer race I find this film very interesting. I think the mormon thing had some potential. I have no qlue if the whole story is true to the mormon faith.

Joseph Smith was a western occultist BTW, a magician. He studied Kabbalah and the symbols of the ritual have a kabbalistic significance I shouldn’t wonder.
At the time of his death he was wearing a medallion which was the standard Agrippa Jupiter talisman – absolutely normal occult stuff. You could say about increasing liver chi I guess, but on a nationwide scale! More info can be found in the ‘New Encyclopedia of the Occult’ by John Michael Greer, an excellent and trustworthy fellow in my opinion who is also the head of a druid order (and a qigong practitioner incidentally!).
