Dear China Dream Trippers (both confirmed & still thinking about it),
The exact dates for the China Dream Trip 2008 have finally been set. The core 16 day trip departs Los Angeles on Sunday night (May 11), actual take-off is on Air China at 1:40 am Monday morning May 12.
Return to LAX is 5:45 pm on Tuesday May 27. Those staying on for the Monastery & Cave Meditation Week return to LAX on Monday, June 2, at 5:45 pm.
If you fly direct and join the group in Beijing, you should plan on arriving in Beijing anytime on Monday May 12, as you will join the Los Angeles group early the morning of May 13 for qigong in the Temple of Heaven. I can arrange the extra night hotel at discounted rate for you. On the return journey home, you will arrive in Beijing airport at 4 pm on Tuesday May 27 or Monday June 2, depending if you stay the extra week. You should allow 2 hours connection time, i.e. book a flight in Beijing departing 6 pm or later to connect home.
(If you can only make an earlier flight, I can get you into Beijing earlier in the day, but you must fly from Xian to Beijing alone and pay an extra $20. to the airport). The trip is getting very full, a lovely balance of Taoist adepts from Europe and the USA. A perfect yin-yang balance, equal men and women.
Three people from previous Dream Trips are returning, one for a third time, which says something about the intensity of the experience and the high quality people it attracts. I think it will fill within two weeks, so if you are sitting on the fence, please consider getting off it soon – before the fence disappears! Email me with any questions you have or needs for special arrangements.
I have room for 5 more people. I am emailing my large national list next week, so safest to put down a deposit before then.
I will be sending out the “what to pack” and “how to stay healthy in China” letters at the end of this month.
To Drinking All the Chi in China,
Michael Winn -
