I have found two main different ways to circulate the energy and i am wondering if anyone with experience could tell me the most effective way for healing. Using both ways i can obtain no-thought.
1. Gather and compress as much energy as you can from the universe into a ball in the dantien via external energy bodies which are then themselves sucked into the dantien, then circulate the ball through different energy channels. This way the energy is more intense (since it is compressed in the ball) but only contained in the ball.
2. Relax and hook yourself directly up to the universal energy via external energy bodies (whom gather energy and pass it into your physical body), don’t gather energy into a ball, don’t have your own energy as per say, you are just borrowing it at the moment from the universe from the universe. The energy flows through all the channels simultaniously but seems weaker at the beginning, but the longer you sit there the pressure in the meridians builds up, yet still not as much as if you compress it into a ball. It feels like all the meridians are full along their whole length.
But then comes another question with the kan and li. The energy created from the steaming of sexual energy feels like a higher frequency, then after steaming the organs and particular places (which just seems like a super inner smile) should we just relax and let it flow through the meridians by it’s self or purposely collect the energy into a ball and circulate?

If it is about healing then the question is what is the nature of the imbalance. The ball approach as you describe it feels very fiery and could move stagnant cold energies. While the lack of compression method may embrace the excess heat and transform that imbalance.
Most of the time I do not know what is being healed but a Dog says to just intend and see where the chi/yi takes you. It is wonderful to not get stuck in just one strategy but allow creative cultivation to come and grow you.
And anytime my sexual energy is in a heated state all frequencies are raised and many times not helpful…but hard to resist. So to speak. barry
