hello All,
Voice (Chris) and I planned our marriage for 2th of July 2011, this is a new moon day. Now, we find different ‘opinions’ about marriages on full or new moons. Anyone having thoughts what is the better ‘choice’? Full or new moon?
Thanks for your insights on the marriage moon matter…
WendyMarch 31, 2010 at 1:07 pm #33799StevenModeratorHi Wendy,
If it were me–personally–I’d say new moon, but let
me discuss it a bit and let you think about it . . .Outside of any special date configurations that you could
check into vis-a-vis huangdi’s post, if we just consider
the full moon/new moon issue:New moon represents the start of something new; birth; a
new beginningFull moon represents bringing something to completion; ending;
finishing somethingSo I guess the question is whether you would view your
marriage as bringing something to completion (full moon)
or the birth of something new (new moon).Only the two of you can answer that question, so I’ll leave
it to you to think about.Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!!
Much qi to you both,

Thanks for your suggestions and thoughts. Talking about it this morning, Wendy and I both felt that a new moon is just too empty. I then found this great site that gives information on moon phases to the day, and also the influence of the moon being in different astrological signs.

Farmers know well that a seed planted at new moon always grows bigger than at full moon.
Neither moon is better for marriage; it just depends on what force, yin or yang, you feel would nourish you both.
Looking forward to hearing the Celestial Bells ringing for your marriage!

The new moon on 2 – 7 – 2011 still resonates nicely, dark yes, but full with potential…
I have a special resonance with 9 and Chris with 4
As you can see, the 9 added to the 4, makes another 4My current housenumber is a 4, and Chris’ housenumber and our future home together is a 4 and many more 4’s are part of our life… it seems the Earth number is calling us to honor her and we greatfully invite her in our lives and in our marriage to guide us with her deep wisdom and creativity…
