Hello,
Just got thru nursing my whole
family as everyone came down
with dengue fever. There has
actually been a bit of an epidemic
down here, a couple of people even
died which is not common. I even
got a super light version myself,
a rash and aches but no fever
at all. My practices are helping
but the virus is amazingly virulent.
Only the drunks seem immune.
Viruses don’t seems unfriendly, just
lonely (no body) and emotionally
immature-give me, give me.
So, I’ve decided maybe it is a good
time to move indoors….ha ha ha,
found a reasonable cottage in
Sorgenfri – Danish for free of
sorrows, which has a nice ring to
it. Maybe a good start for autumn,
free up the lung chi.
The sky is so clear tonight, the
stars are amazing. Saw a ufo.

I hope the epidemic has passed.
Going to a place called “Free of Sorrows” is
quite appropriate given a disease that affects the
skin, and skin being ruled by the Lung Spirit.
Even more appropriate that it is the start of fall 😉

Hello S,
My new cottage is quite crazy,
I have absolutely no cell phone
connection, no tv, no radio, and
impossible to get internet; so
I put in a landline to get dial
up. My phone went dead in two
days… just means I can do more
practice. I come to my mom’s to
do laundry and see what is going
on in the world once a week now.
My place is owned by a policeman
and all of the houses around me
are occupied by caribbean cops,
woke up the other night to two
rounds of shots. Not quite sure
if I feel safe. or not….but
there are no mosquitoes which is
heaven for practice. The shower
has super hot water and great
pressure!!!! All in all a good
move.
Hope that all is well with you.

Hi Adel,
When I read the following:
>>>My new cottage is quite crazy,
>>>I have absolutely no cell phone
>>>connection, no tv, no radio, and
>>>impossible to get internet;
my thought was the opposite . . .
When I go on a hermit retreat,
those are exactly the conditions
I find myself in.
So I’d replace “crazy” with “perfect”. 🙂
Keep smiling,
Steven
