note: Tom Kenyon channels in some Egyptian-inspired “over soul” entities, but is eclectic in his attraction to taoist alchemy and tantra. He mistranslates “ming MEN” into “ming MA”, but other than that,it’s a perfectly lovely and potentially useful way to stabilize awareness at the mingmen. Ocean Breating (from Fundamentals 1) can do this even more effectively in my opinion, but you have to focus on the pre-natal:postnatal breathing movement between mingmen (formless source) and dantian (gives form to qi). – Michael
Orchidium
A Hathor Planetary Message through Tom Kenyon
Earths passage through the summer Solstice of 2013 was an energetic marker for the beginning of a new Chaotic Node.
As your planet undergoes increased climate change, you will see further increases in meteorological novelty and unusual interactions between storm fronts. What used to be called 100-year storms will happen more frequently. These types of storms are outer manifestations of Chaotic Nodes and the escalation of chaos arising from seemingly unrelated levels of existence.
While you have already experienced several Chaotic Nodes since 2011, you are at the beginning of another major crescendo in chaotic events. While this particular Chaotic Node will accelerate climatic and geological changes, as well as social unrest, it is your personal psychological and emotional level that may well be the most affected.
You can expect to see a pronounced increase in emotional instability and psychological imbalances among your fellow humans (perhaps including yourself). The collective social challenges of this will be profound.
For an Initiate, meaning one on the journey to higher states of consciousness, this particular Chaotic Node is, and will continue to be, both extremely challenging and full of possibilities. The challenge has to do with the nature of this unique Chaotic Node, which drives to the surface of your conscious awareness deep-seated emotional toxicity.
One of the challenges that spiritually inclined persons are experiencing, and will continue to experience for some time, is the deep recognition that they have unresolved issues and deep-seated hostilities that may not fit very well with their self-image. Indeed this is a time when self-images will be shattered.
You are seeing this unfold at the international level with governments, and you will see it unfold through all levels of society. But for many it will be the shattering of personal self-image that will be the most difficult to contend with.
What we wish to convey is that your negativity, your toxicity, your despair and your hopelessnessif they are indeed presentneed not be a negation of you. Rather they can be portals into the deep unconscious, to the very bedrock of human subconscious intent.
In the process of self-liberation, you must deal with this negativity in yourself regardless of the methods you may use to free yourself.
The Orchidium
We now wish to impart a method for infusing yourself with light and life-enhancing energy. We introduce the method at this time because it will take great fortitude and personal energy to work through this particular Chaotic Node as well as the ones coming to you in the future. We call this the Orchidium.
It is a very simple method that involves a biological metaphor and image. The greatest obstacle and the greatest difficulty with the Orchidium is its simplicity. Human beings tend to make things more complex than they need to be when it comes to this type of work.
In its essence the Orchidium is a means for you to draw into your KA (your energy body), as well as your physical body, high levels of spiritual light and life-enhancing energywhat the Yogis call prana and what the Daoists/Taoists call chi.
In this method you imagine that there is an orchid-like flower in your navel. The central root of this imaginary flower is hollow and is anchored or rooted at a point in front of your backbone, directly opposite your navel. This area is known to Daoists/Taoists as the Ming-Ma (or Seat of Life).
It is from the Seat of Life that subtle energy is distributed to your subtle energy body and also to the organs of your physical body. This type of subtle energy has a very deeply nourishing and rejuvenating effect.
When you hold an image of the Orchidium, you imagine that the stamen is extended out in front of you from the center of your navel. (Note: Stamens are the pollen producing reproductive organs of a flower. They consist of a stalk called a filament and an anther that produces the pollen.) When you create the Orchidium via your imagination, the stamen protrudes from the center of the blossom. For reference purposes, a photograph of a flower with its stamen appears elsewhere in this message.
By its nature the Orchidium draws into itself and then back into the Ming-Ma, spiritual-light and subtle energy from the cosmos.
To engage the Orchidium, all you need do is to imagine this flower in whatever ways makes sense to you so that its blossom is open, and the central root is hollow extending from the navel back into the Ming-Ma. It is crucial for you to understand that the Orchidum draws these celestial energies to you by itself, by its own nature and without you having to do anything.
There is no relationship between the flow of subtle energy into the Orchidium and your breath. Once you activate the flow of celestial energies to the Orchidium, they will flow automatically and unobstructed until you stop them.
Sensitive individuals will soon discover that they can sense the flow of cosmic energies into the stamen of the Orchidium itself, but success does not depend on this level of sensitivity. This type of awareness is simply a refinement. What is important is to feel and sense the flow of spiritual-light and energy down the central root, the hollow tube, from the Orchidum (in your navel) to your Ming-Ma and then to enjoy the flow of life-force throughout your subtle and physical bodies as you wish.
We suggest you experiment with this in five-minute intervals so that you become familiar with how the Orchidium works for you and also to avoid over-stimulation.
It is possible to bring too much celestial energy into your system, which is why we suggest five minutes at a time. Five minutes once a day is all that is required to familiarize yourself with the Orchidum and its potentials.
Once you understand how the Orchidium works for you and how much celestial energy you can comfortably bring into yourself, you can experiment with longer sessions if you wish.
After each Orchidium session we strongly suggest you imagine the Orchidium closing so that the blossom is not open. This is for the purpose of self-protection when you enter into the world. Until you have learned how to separate life-positive energies from the life-negative energies that surround you, we suggest you engage this strategy of protection.
Adding the Aethos
While you can engage the Orchidium without any sound or music, in the beginning stages you may find the Aethos Sound Meditation very helpful. This is because the pulsations within this sound piece facilitate the movement of celestial energies within the Orchidium root, which connects into your Ming-Ma.
As you listen to the Aethos Sound Meditation, when engaging the Orchidium, pay special attention to the hollow channel, the root, which runs from the Orchidim into your Ming-Ma. The sonic pulsations within the Aethos will amplify the flow of celestial energies into this channel.
Philosophical and Religious Obstructions
While the method of engaging the Orchidium is simple, the consequences in terms of your life-force and your capacity to hold spiritual light are quite complex.
There is another complexity here but it has to do with your belief systems. If you do not rise above these limited beliefs, you will constrain the flow of celestial energies.
You live in a cosmos of exquisite unimaginable beauty, spiritual-light, consciousness and energy. You are an heir to all of these treasures, and each of them imparts to you powers of consciousnessyet you are cut off from your birthright by many of your philosophies and religions.
Any religion that teaches that you have been separated from the celestial light-filled realms because you have a physical body is an obstruction to the truth of your beingas we view it. Any religion that says that you are separated from the heavenly worlds and their treasures through the sin of your birth is also, in our view, an obstruction.
Those philosophies that propose that you are merely a physical being with no dimensions of consciousness transcendent to time and space are, in our view, obstructions as well.
For the sake of experimenting with the Orchidium we suggest you temporarily suspend these beliefs. See for yourself how well the Orchidium works when you actually suspend these limiting thought-forms. After working with the Orchidium in this manner (sans limiting beliefs) you might even choose to leave those beliefs and thought-forms permanently behind you altogether.
When working with the Orchidium we suggest the following thought-forms:
1) Imagine that you are a part of, and heir to, all the treasures of the cosmosthe highest realms of light and the most-subtle life-enhancing energies.
2) Imagine that the Orchidium effortlessly draws into you these treasures whenever you choose to open the blossom.
3) Through the Orchidium, you can experience the transformation of your subtle energy body and the vital organs of your physical body.
Use this enhanced energy and life-force (as well as the light-force) to sustain you as you move through this potent Chaotic Node and the ones to follow.
The Hathors
June 27, 2013Tom’s Thoughts and Observations
The term Orchidium, as given by the Hathors, refers to a flower-like mental image that you create in your imagination. This image does not necessarily look like an orchid, unless you choose to make it so. This is in stark contrast to the actual word orchidium, which refers specifically to orchids. The Hathors like to play with words, and for them the word orchidium refers to a biological metaphor that you create through your own volition and imaginative powers for the purpose of drawing celestial energies into your subtle energy body (your KA) and into the organs of your physical body.
The important element, here, is that the mental image be a blossom of some kind with a stamen.
Other than this, I think the Hathors description of the Orchidium is fairly self-explanatory. The only thing I would add to their description is that engaging the Orchidium does not require visualization skills.
You imagine and sense it in whatever way(s) seem natural to you. If you tend to see things in your minds eye, then you might very well have a clear picture of the Orchidium as you work with it. If you tend to feel things, then you will have a felt sense of it. And there are, of course, other combinations of senses that you could imagine the Orchidium with as well.
As for physical attributes, imagine the Orchidium to be whatever size, shape and color you wish to make it. The point in all of this is to create the Orchidium in a way that is most comfortable for you.
I have been working with the Orchidium since 2011, under numerous conditions, and I can definitely verify its effectiveness. I also find the Hathors suggestion for working with the Orchidium while listening to the Aethos Sound Meditation very helpful. The sound patterns in the Aethos sound piece do actually facilitate the movement of celestial energies from the Orchidium into the Ming-Ma in some very remarkable ways. And so I suggest you give it a try. You will find a link to the 5-minute version of the Aethos Sound Meditation at the bottom of the page.
The Shattering of Self-image
The Hathors are quite clear that this particular Chaotic Node carries an emotional punch. And I can personally attest to a quickening of emotional material since this last summer Solsticethe likes of which I have never seen.
When they were talking about the shattering of self-image and the driving of unresolved emotional material into conscious awareness, one of their turns of phrase caught my eye.
your toxicity, your despair and your hopelessnessif they are indeed presentneed not be a negation of you. Rather they can be portals into the deep unconscious, to the very bedrock of human subconscious intent.
By subconscious intent, they mean the psychological forces (thoughts, feelings and desires) that we keep hidden from ourselves. As socialized human beings we have all learned how to emotionally adapt to our environment.
And it is my observation that when we, myself most definitely included, are faced with the dilemma of thinking, feeling or desiring something not acceptable by those around us, many of us send those thoughts, feelings and desires undergroundinto the deep subconscious mind.
It is here in the darkness of the un-owned self that these unclaimed psychological forces fester and build. Eventually, they break out into the open or we become secretive about them. In a strange paradox of human nature, some of us become zealots and condemn those who express those very same furtive thoughts, feelings and desires that we have been harboring in ourselves.
I asked my Hathor mentors after receiving this message, why they brought up the topic of subconscious intent to begin with. Their response was 1) these subconscious thoughts, feelings and desires create quantum effects that are sometimes at odds with our conscious intent. This conflict constrains our creative abilities and 2) we must deal with and transform our deepest hostilities and negativities or be destroyed by them.
In their last Planetary Message, The Healing Power of the Human Heart (April 13, 2013), the Hathors gave a powerful sound meditation to assist with this type of clearing. If you are experiencing the type of emotional intensity the Hathors alluded to in this message, I encourage you to work with the Hathor Heart Chakra Healing Sound Meditation. A link to the message and the sound meditation appears at the bottom of this page.
The Orchidium: A Visual Aid
As the saying goes A picture is worth a thousand words. Thus I thought it might be helpful for some readers if I included a photo of a blossoming flower.
The photo is of a Hibiscus, and it is for reference purposes only. Your Orchidium can be any size, shape or color you choose.
The important element in any Orchidium is a blossom that can open and close (according to your own volition) and a stamen. In this case, the stamen is that nubby thing that sticks out from the center portion of the Hibiscus. It is through this stamen that celestial energies (prana or chi) are drawn into the Ming-Ma (the Seat of Life), which sits in front of your spine directly opposite your navel.
From your Ming-Ma these celestial energies circulate into your energy body (your KA) and into the organs of your physical bodyimparting a type of spiritual illumination and increased vitality.
Final thoughts
I suggest you take a few minutes after working with the Orchidium (especially if you create it in conjunction with the Aethos Sound Meditation) to just be with yourself in silence for a few minutes. Ideally, you would sit or lie down with your awareness in the area of your Ming-Ma. Develop your capacity to sense the flow of chi/prana from your Ming-Ma into the organs of your body and into your subtle energy body (your KA) as well.
It is well worth the time and the effort to develop this type of awareness. The trick is not to rush into outer activity. After creating the Orchidium, spend some time with yourself through inner contemplation of your Ming-Ma.
This energetic pathway (from your navel to your Ming-Ma) is a most auspicious one.
When you were a fetus in the womb of your mother, you were connected to her via the placenta cord and it was through this tether that you were nourished.
At a deep primal level, your psyche recognizes that this is a fundamental channel for receiving life-force. Furthermore, at a psycho-spiritual symbolic level, this channel is also a means to open yourself to the vast restorative powers of the cosmic nurturing femininethe Mother of All Things

Some obvious differences like the blossom at the lower dantian
instead of the heart center, but it has a similar flavor especially
with regard to the external universe extension. In any case,
this channeled meditation is very body-oriented / Daoist-flavored . . . SAugust 20, 2013 at 4:34 pm #41084c_howdyParticipantThe chief difficulty in the way of liberation from complete slavery is that

RUDOLF STEINER, An Outline of Occult Science
The attainment of a supersensible state of consciousness can only proceed from everyday waking consciousness. In this consciousness the soul lives before its elevation. Through the training the soul acquires a means of lifting itself out of everyday consciousness. The training that is under consideration here offers among the first means those that still may be designated as functions of everyday consciousness. The most important means are just those that consist of quiet activities of the soul. They involve the opening of the soul to quite definite thoughts. These thoughts exercise, by their very nature, an awakening power upon certain hidden faculties of the human soul. They are to be distinguished from the visualizations of everyday waking life, which have the task of depicting outer things. The more truly they do this, the truer they are, and it is part of their nature to be true in this sense. The visualizations, however, to which the soul must open itself for the purpose of spiritual training have no such task. They are so constructed that they do not depict anything external but have in themselves the peculiarity of effecting an awakening in the soul. The best visualizations for this purpose are emblematic or symbolical. Nevertheless, other visualizations may also be employed, for it is not a question of what they contain, but solely a question of the soul’s directing its powers in such a way that it has nothing else in mind but the visualized image under consideration. While the powers of everyday soul-life are distributed in many directions the visualized mental representations changing very rapidly in spiritual training everything depends upon the concentration of the entire soul-life upon one visualization. This visualization must, by means of free will, be placed at the center of consciousness. Symbolic visualized images are, therefore, better than those that represent outer objects or processes, for the latter have a point of attachment to the outer world, making the soul less dependent upon itself than when it employs symbolic visualizations that are formed through the soul’s own energy. The essential is not what is visualized; what is essential is the fact that the visualization, through the way it is visualized, liberates the soul from dependence on the physical.
We understand what it means to immerse ourselves in a visualized image if we consider, first of all, the concept of memory. If, for instance, we look at a tree and then away from it so that we can no longer see it, we are then able to re-awaken the visualization of the tree in the soul by recollecting it. This visualization of the tree, which we have when the eye no longer beholds the latter, is a memory of the tree. Now let us imagine that we preserve this memory in the soul; we permit the soul, as it were, to rest upon the visualized memory picture; and at the same time we endeavor to exclude all other visualizations. Then the soul is immersed in the visualized memory picture of the tree. We then have to do with the soul’s immersion in a visualized picture or image; yet this visualization is the image of an object perceived by the senses. But if we undertake this with a visualized image formed in the consciousness by an act of independent will, we shall then be able by degrees to attain the effect upon which everything depends.
We shall now endeavor to describe an example of inner immersion in a symbolic visualization. Such a visualization must first be fashioned in the soul. This may happen in the following way. We visualize a plant as it roots in the earth, as leaf by leaf sprouts forth, as its blossom unfolds, and now we think of a human being beside this plant. We make the thought alive in the soul of how he has characteristics and faculties which, when compared with those of the plant, may be considered more perfect than the latter. We contemplate how, according to his feelings and his will, he is able to move about hither and thither, while the plant is chained to the earth. Furthermore we say that the human being is indeed more perfect than the plant, but he also shows peculiarities that are not to be found in the plant. Just because of their nonexistence in the plant the latter may appear to me in a certain sense more perfect than the human being who is filled with desire and passion and follows them in his conduct. I may speak of his being led astray by his desires and passions. I see that the plant follows the pure laws of growth from leaf to leaf, that it opens its blossom passionlessly to the chaste rays of the sun. Furthermore, I may say to myself that the human being has a greater perfection than the plant, but he has purchased this perfection at the price of permitting instincts, desires, and passions to enter into his nature besides the forces of the plant, which appear pure to us. I now visualize how the green sap flows through the plant and that it is an expression of the pure, passionless laws of growth. I then visualize how the red blood flows through the human veins and how it is the expression of the instincts, desires, and passions. All this I permit to arise in my soul as vivid thought. Then I visualize further how the human being is capable of evolution; how he may purify and cleanse his instincts and passions through his higher soul powers. I visualize how, as a result of this, something base in these instincts and desires is destroyed and how the latter are reborn upon a higher plane. Then the blood may be conceived of as the expression of the purified and cleansed instincts and passions. In my thoughts I look now, for example, upon the rose and say, In the red rose petal I see the color of the green plant sap transformed into red, and the red rose, like the green leaf, follows the pure, passionless laws of growth. The red of the rose may now become the symbol of a blood that is the expression of purified instincts and passions that have stripped off all that is base, and in their purity resemble the forces active in the red rose. I now seek not merely to imbue my intellect with such thoughts but to bring them to life in my feelings. I may have a feeling of bliss when I think of the purity and passionlessness of the growing plant; I can produce within myself the feeling of how certain higher perfections must be purchased through the acquirement of instincts and desires. This can then transform the feeling of bliss, which I have felt previously, into a grave feeling; and then a feeling of liberating joy may stir in me when I surrender myself to the thought of the red blood which, like the red sap of the rose, may become the bearer of inwardly pure experiences. It is of importance that we do not without feeling confront the thoughts that serve to construct such a symbolic visualization. After we have pondered on such thoughts and feelings for a time, we are to transform them into the following symbolic visualization. We visualize a black cross. Let this be the symbol of the destroyed base elements of instincts and passions, and at the center, where the arms of the cross intersect, let us visualize seven red, radiant roses arranged in a circle. Let these roses be the symbol of a blood that is the expression of purified, cleansed passions and instincts.1 Such a symbolic visualization should be called forth in the soul in the way illustrated above through a visualized memory image. Such a visualization has a soul-awakening power if we surrender ourselves to it in inward meditation. We must seek to exclude all other thoughts during meditation. Only the characterized symbol is to hover in spirit before the soul as intensely as possible. It is not without significance that this symbol is not simply given here as an awakening visualized picture, but that it has first been constructed by means of certain thoughts about plant and man. For the effect of such a symbol depends upon the fact of its having been constructed in the way described before it is employed in inner meditation. If we visualize the symbol without first having fashioned it in our own souls, it remains cold and much less effective than when it has received, through preparation, its soul-illuminating power. During meditation, however, we should not call forth in the soul all the preparatory thoughts, but merely let the visualized picture hover vividly before our inner eye, at the same time letting the feeling hold sway that has appeared as a result of the preparatory thoughts. Thus the symbol becomes a token alongside the feeling-experience, and its effectiveness lies in the dwelling of the soul in this inner experience. The longer we are able to dwell in it without the intervention of other, disturbing, thoughts, the more effective is the entire process. It is well, nevertheless, for us, outside the period dedicated to the actual meditation itself, to repeat the construction of the symbol by means of thoughts and feelings of the above described kind, so that the experience may not fade away. The more patience we exercise in this renewal, the more significant is the symbol for the soul.September 3, 2013 at 8:08 pm #41086horus77ParticipantInteresting content. I’ve not tried the meditation yet, but wanted to share a related experience.
Some months ago, I had a massive amount of chi enter my third eye during meditation. I had an instant running nose and head pressure.
Hours later in meditation I was trying to bring the pressure down the functional channel to the navel, when my third eye tube (like a translucent hydraulically extending crystal) extended from my third eye to the navel region.
I felt my whole consciousness traveling with the tube, and I pause a second and then allowed it.
My whole consciousness popped from my head center into the navel region – I was literally inside my abdomen.I could see the ming-men fire – or maybe the dantien – it was a glowing, perfecly circular disk. I’ve never seen anything so perfectly circular. It has black vapour issuing around it. Suddenly there was a surge of energy coming into the disk from above or outside and there was a gush – like energy gushing through pipes – and there was a rush of energy coming through the disk. The black vapour took a more “directional form and swirled with the energy in a arc/circle up and around my inner “cavern”.
The energy danced with what i belive to be my yin/kidney energy. It was like a battle for balance – like a little fire cracker spinniing madly with the polarity. The point where the two energies spun was a small massively powerful spark – which at a point – took off and traveled through subtle pathways. I could see it travel within, like a spark in a waterslide tube throughout me.In the space I could also see a big black cluster, with blue points like stars (see image attached but the blackness was stretching between the star points) – the black web extended between the points like dense black spiderweb, but it was dense and full – from that black stuff I felt it laughing at me and my inability to fully comprehend all I was seeing – almost laughing at how blind I was to all of it and who I truly am.
There was also a big fire which extended across the bottom of the “abdominal cavity” and steadily burning fire – uneven and slowly expanding like a big grass fire across the hills.
I felt like I may have been able to travel into the “black chi”, or through ming-men – but I felt like I didn’t have enough awareness of what I was dealing with.
I was then able to split my vision/awareness between the inner space and my outer normal vision, then I phased back out.
I’ll try out the Orchidium Meditation on Ming Men, thanks.

-WILLIAM S. BURROUGHS, The Place of Dead Roads…so other agencies protect you from the Thuggee-protectors, and so on. Hitler greated the SS to protect himself from the SA. Had he lived long enough, he would have needed protectors from the SS, and protectors from those protectors…where does it end? Perhaps with only one protector, who is of course, you deadliest enemy.
-WILLIAM S. BURROUGHS, The Western LandsWe are the Hathors. We come in love and with the sounding of a new dream reality for your earth. If you are ready to build the new world, we invite you to join us on a journey of the mind and heart. We are your elder brothers and sisters. We have been with you for a very long period of your evolution on this planet. We were with you in eons past even in the forgotten days before any trace of us is known in your present written history. Our own nature is energetic and interdimensional. We originally came from another universe by way of Sirius which is a portal to your Universe, and from Sirius we eventually proceeded to your solar system and the etheric realms of Venus.
In the past we have specifically worked with and through the Hator fertility goddess of ancient Egypt. We also made contact with Tibetan lamas in the formative period of Tibetan Buddhism. Although we have interacted with some of Earths early cultures, we are an intergalactic civilization with outposts that span parts of your known Universe and beyond.
We are what you might term an ascended civilization a group of beings existing at a specific vibratory field, even as you have an energy signature. It is simply that we vibrate at a faster rate than you. Nonetheless, we are all part of the mystery, part of the love that holds and binds all the universe together.
We have grown as you have grown, ascending to the One Source of all that is. We have grown in joy and through sorrow, as have you. We are, in terms of the vastness, a little higher on the spiral of awareness and consciousness than you are; therefore, we can offer you what we have learned as friends, mentors and fellow travelers on the path that leads back to remembrance of All That Is.
We are not saviors; were not messianic. We want to clearly step out of that projection so that the reader understands that we are simply elder brothers and sisters offering our understanding and what we have learned. You may take it or leave it but we offer it freely. In our understanding, the belief that different alien intelligences are going to save you, is just a projection of human unconsciousness. The hope that someone or something will save you, that you will not have to make any changes in yourself, that you will not have to be responsible, is unrealistic.
The belief that you can stay in patterns of lethargy and unconsciousness, then take something or have something given to you that will transform you without any effort on your part, is sheer folly. It wont happen. Now, there may be alien intelligences that land, for they certainly exist, but those humans who count on others to bring in their ascension and elevation without any work on their part, are going to be very disappointed.
Ascension is a process of self-awareness and mastery on all levels and it necessitates bringing all those levels of ones existence upward. That is how we see it and that is how we have done it for millennia.
By offering our aid, however, we do not wish to interfere with your other spiritual helpers and cosmic relationships in any way, nor with any religious beliefs, affiliations or organizations of help to you. Even so, there is a great deal we would like to share.
-TOM KENYON & VIRGINIA ESSENE,The Hathor Material: Messages from an Ascended CivilizationThis really serious mixing of very different cultures from also very different ages is not necessarily very healthy.
For example that is negative in New Age type of material.
Also to start to “channel” might be sometimes harmful.
Traditionally for example Buddhist have some rules how long such things should be kept hidden minimally (if not permanently).
Sorry, but in my opinion what comes to these voice activities method is more important than guru.
