Is The Universe A Hologram? Physicists Say It’s Possible

In 1997, theoretical physicist Juan Maldacena proposed that an audacious model of the Universe in which gravity arises from infinitesimally thin, vibrating strings could be reinterpreted in terms of well-established physics. The mathematically intricate world of strings, which exist in nine dimensions of space plus one of time, would be merely a hologram: the real action would play out in a simpler, flatter cosmos where there is no gravity.
Maldacena’s idea thrilled physicists because it offered a way to put the popular but still unproven theory of strings on solid footing and because it solved apparent inconsistencies between quantum physics and Einstein’s theory of gravity. It provided physicists with a mathematical Rosetta stone, a ‘duality’, that allowed them to translate back and forth between the two languages, and solve problems in one model that seemed intractable in the other and vice versa. But although the validity of Maldacena’s ideas has pretty much been taken for granted ever since, a rigorous proof has been elusive.
In two papers posted on the arXiv repository, Yoshifumi Hyakutake of Ibaraki University in Japan and his colleagues now provide, if not an actual proof, at least compelling evidence that Maldacenas conjecture is true.
In one paper, Hyakutake computes the internal energy of a black hole, the position of its event horizon (the boundary between the black hole and the rest of the Universe), its entropy and other properties based on the predictions of string theory as well as the effects of so-called virtual particles that continuously pop into and out of existence. In the other, he and his collaborators calculate the internal energy of the corresponding lower-dimensional cosmos with no gravity. The two computer calculations match.
It seems to be a correct computation, says Maldacena, who is now at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey and who did not contribute to the team’s work.
The findings are an interesting way to test many ideas in quantum gravity and string theory, Maldacena adds. The two papers, he notes, are the culmination of a series of articles contributed by the Japanese team over the past few years. The whole sequence of papers is very nice because it tests the dual [nature of the universes] in regimes where there are no analytic tests.
They have numerically confirmed, perhaps for the first time, something we were fairly sure had to be true, but was still a conjecture namely that the thermodynamics of certain black holes can be reproduced from a lower-dimensional universe, says Leonard Susskind, a theoretical physicist at Stanford University in California who was among the first theoreticians to explore the idea of holographic universes.
Neither of the model universes explored by the Japanese team resembles our own, Maldacena notes. The cosmos with a black hole has ten dimensions, with eight of them forming an eight-dimensional sphere. The lower-dimensional, gravity-free one has but a single dimension, and its menagerie of quantum particles resembles a group of idealized springs, or harmonic oscillators, attached to one another.
Nevertheless, says Maldacena, the numerical proof that these two seemingly disparate worlds are actually identical gives hope that the gravitational properties of our Universe can one day be explained by a simpler cosmos purely in terms of quantum theory.
Funny. I asked this question some 7 years ago when I was a beginner in the system, and all I got was ridicule. I think ironically you were the only one that even tried to an attempt an answer.
Now 7 years later, I can answer this.
In the Healing Tao system, orange is not associated with any particular organ.
Instead, orange is associated to the lymphatic system, and the qi behind toxic elimination: urination, defecation, and menstruation.In short, orange is the color of “body detox”.

there seems to be no question it is the direct color for the adrenals and a deep connection to the belly and genitals…
also, there seems to be no question that deep mud brown is equally useful as a chi type, as are any of the varied soil types around the earth which are just like the tribal skin tones..
imho, everyone should charge the deep sexual growth energy of orange and muddy soil browns just as much as the five organ qi’s..
the same thing goes for tuning the core channel itself…
you can dial up everything, ie the entire atmospheric tone on a given day, on the core cylinder channel..Your association to the sexual center for orange is more of a chakra association, than a Healing Tao one. In the Healing Tao, orange is more associated to lymphatics and detox as I said. See Cosmic Healing coursework for this.
Brown is the deeper aspect of yellow, so it is an earth color.
Sort of like how black is the deeper aspect of blue, for the kidneys.In any case . . .

Both the kidneys and the liver are reddish brown, but we use blue/black and green respectively for these. Lungs are more of pinkish/gray than white. The physical organ color doesn’t really match the 5 element model qi energetics. Only the heart, also being reddish brown, is close to the color red.
In the Daoist 5-element model, the adrenals are associated to the qi color blue, because even though they are separate glands, they are considered part of the kidneys or kidney system.
But, if you wanted to pick a unique color to them, being separate glands . . . then orange is as reasonable as a choice as any.
As I said earlier, in the HT, orange is the lymphatic system and detoxification processes.
I don’t know the Qabalah connection, sorry.

The holographic principle is a property of quantum gravity and string theories that states that the description of a volume of space can be thought of as encoded on a boundary to the regionpreferably a light-like boundary like a gravitational horizon. First proposed by Gerard ‘t Hooft, it was given a precise string-theory interpretation by Leonard Susskind who combined his ideas with previous ones of ‘t Hooft and Charles Thorn. As pointed out by Raphael Bousso, Thorn observed in 1978 that string theory admits a lower-dimensional description in which gravity emerges from it in what would now be called a holographic way.

This result opens up totally new perspectives towards quantum gravity since one can simulate quantum black holes through dual gauge theories.

And I think the white for the lungs is really connected with
the clouds in the sky, part of the atmosphere, or the air we surround ourselves with.
I was just pointing out that the organ assignment is not the color of the physical organ. The organ is just a house for which the qi resides.I agree, the temperature conditions of the planets don’t necessarily match.
Mars is actually cold (colder than Earth anyway, max temp is 70F, and gets down to -200F). But the colors of Mars and Venus are close to red and white, and Mars has the connection to rage/warfare with thin atmosphere . . . while Venus has very dense cloud cover (clouds=atmosphere=metal element). It’s hard to say what would be a better match to those elements than Mars and Venus respectively.I don’t know how great of a match Mercury is to the water element, given its proximity to the sun. I think Neptune would probably be a better pick, but the ancients weren’t aware of the existence of Neptune at the time.

But if you want to assign orange to the adrenals, it sounds fine to me and I would support it. If you want a solar connection as you implied in your previous posting, you should recognize that the adrenals are across from the solar plexus, which is a plexus of nerves the resembles the rays of the sun (hence the name). . . and is the center in Greater for which you couple sun/moon essences. In any case, this would give further support to your assignment for orange to adrenals.

Note: Qabalah is actually a Aleister Crowley spelling and his variation on the Kabbalah (different spelling). But I’m not going to argue over terms as the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn is not my area of expertise. I had an ex-gf who was/is really interested in the Golden Dawn and the BOTA (teachings of Paul Foster Case), but I never really had much attraction to it myself. It’s a less body-oriented than the Healing Tao, and has a little bit too much of a connection to the dark arts for my taste.
