I don’t find this much in Taoist texts but in Western mystical or kundalini writings there is huge emphasis on the importance of the purity of our sexual essence and the delicate balance it has in our spirit/bodymind etc.
So for example Samael Aun Weor has written: “Within the organism, there are certain canals through which this powerful energy must normally circulate. When this energy infiltrates the delicate mechanism of other functions, failure is the violent outcome. In this case, extremely delicate centers in the human organism are damaged, and in fact, the individual becomes an infrasexual…Sex is the creative function through which the human being is a true God. Any negative mental attitude towards sex produces infiltration of this powerful energy into other functions, which provokes frightening catastrophes, fatally resulting in infrasexuality.”
And DH Lawrence also wrote a very deep and profound article called Pornography and Obscenity, and in it he says: “The sex functions and the excrementary functions in the human body work so close together, yet they are, so to speak, utterly different in direction. Sex is a creative flow, the excrementary flow is towards dissolution, de-creation ”
“In the really healthy human being the distinction between the two is instant, our profoundest instincts are perhaps our instincts of opposition between the two flows…But in the degraded human being the deep instincts have gone dead, and then the two flows become identical. This is the secret of really vulgar people and of pornography: the sex flow and the excrement flow is the same thing to them. It happens when the psyche deteriorates, and the profound controlling instincts collapse. Then sex is dirt and dirt is sex, and sexual excitement becomes a playing with dirt, and any sign of sex in a woman becomes a show of her dirt”.
And also Gurdjieff had some things to say about orgasms before adulthood and how it permanently messes up your centers of being.
What are Daoists’ take on this issue, if they have any? It seems like alchemy is pretty straightforward, just constantly save up your fluid and transmute the alchemical pill or whatever. They only talk about the purely physical consequences of ‘wasting’ the fluid through sexual activity, like how it can lead to diseases and premature death. But what about the consequences for spirit or consciousness? I mean pornography is rampant nowadays and the whole western culture of sex seems to be built around this sense of dirt, degradation, objectivization and pushing sex into the head with all kinds of digital and visual stimuli, and I’ve certainly indulged in my fair share of all that. Am I just being naive when I think that just because I’m still sexually potent I’ve got all the cosmological treasures inside of me? What if there really is some fatal line that has already been crossed?

Catheterization allows the patient’s urine to drain freely from the bladder for collection. It may be used to inject liquids used for treatment or diagnosis of bladder conditions. A clinician, often a nurse, usually performs the procedure, but self-catheterization is also possible. The catheter may be a permanent one (indwelling catheter), or an intermittent catheter removed after each catheterization.

Here I’m thinking actually so called VAJROLI MUDRA which for example this David Shen Verdesi have been also seemingly eager to teach for some practitioners.
Anyway question is also which sexual practices are actually from India which are Chinese.
Historical Indian texts associate dual cultivation with China.

Ps. I think Gurdjieff is not here very good teacher because he if somebody have been very very satyr like whatever he writes in his books.

1. Sit in siddhasana and practise uddiyana, increasing gradually until it can be held for one and half minutes.
2. Eliminate acidity of urine by means of (i) diet, (ii) water, and (iii) seeds of dry coriander.
3. Practise interrupted urination while performing namaskara. Time needed: six months.
4. Suck the urine back up. Time needed: one or two years.
5. Hold back the ejaculation up to one minute.
6. Progressively increase the period of holding back until permanent retention is achieved.
7. Direct the concentration to the chakras.
-Swami Satyananda Saraswati, Zinal, Sept. 1980, Vama Marga – The Practice of Left Hand TantraOne shouldn’t forget that it’s quite well-known that some Taoists lineages seemingly haven’t accepted adult students at all still in quite recent times.
But I have also impression that in these conditions all who have interest to have some practices, should have the possibility for that.
I still also think that one shouldn’t try to make these sexual things anything too central.

In the tantric system, there are two techniques given for vajroli – one is from hatha yoga and the other from kriya yoga. The hatha yoga vajroli is mainly directed towards maithuna, and the kriya yoga technique towards chakra awakening. Results are reached much sooner with the first method (in one or two years), but results gained with the second method are far more complete and powerful, even if it takes longer to perfect (four to five years).
The traditional hatha yoga technique involves insertion of a flexible silver or gold tube up the urethra. This method has to be utilized before puberty, when the walls of the urethra are more elastic, so that discharge of semen (which very often occurs when the tube reaches the urithroid, immediately after the curve of the urethra) is avoided. In this practice, it is not the tube which has to bend at the curve, but the urithroid which has to be stretched.
In the kriya yoga method, uddiyana bandha must be practised in siddhasana twice a day in the morning and evening, for one or two years, until mastery is achieved. Pranayama must also be continued. The practice of siddhasana places an automatic lock on mooladhara without performing moola bandha, while the practice of uddiyana bandha strengthens the urithroid. It is necessary to maintain uddiyana bandha for at least one and half minutes. Only then will it be possible to proceed to the next stage. During this first stage, techniques of the following stages are not to be performed.

If you can relax and enjoy strange erotic things, then enjoy them. I personally don’t believe you “ruin” any “purity.”
I recall in Chia’s “Multi-Orgasmic Man” he talks about pornography. I believe he said that although it generates a lot of sexual energy (which is a good thing), it can distract you from being able to connect with your partner if you are thinking about these images. From personal experience I think that it creates too much energy too quickly and the volcano is more likely to erupt…
