Three months ago I was experimenting with seminal retention, and tried to flex my PC muscle upon ejaculation. Something went wrong: As I came, I flexed hard, and managed to repress about 70% of the ejaculation. But suddenly I lost control of the muscles and it felt like something (energetic) in my stomach collapsed. Like there was a hole and something got sucked in. There was no pain.
The next day my stomach bulged outwards and was sore and stayed that way for some weeks. Something happened to my penis after that day – it almost got retarded. Like it got overexcited at the tiniest stimulation, and is ready to blow after just 5 seconds. I’ve had boners and wet dreams like I was 16 years old again. It’s disruptive though – as soon as it gets stroked it almost climaxes. Something has happened to my stomach too. It looks different. Like it’s bulging a bit outwards, sagging a bit. Exercise hasn’t helped. And oddly something has happened to my buttocks too: There’s a hollow point inwards on each buttock on the lower part seen from the back and also one on the side. Often the buttocks seem to expand and sag a bit so that they’re rubbing together. Just the lower part near the thighs. Weird stuff. Have never had it happen before.
There’s no pain, and an ultra-sound test didn’t show anything unnormal. From a medical point of view all is A-okay. You might ask “if there’s no pain what’s the problem”? The problem is that 1) it’s weird, and I’d like to find out what happened, and 2) It has disruptive sexual side-effects, as described above, and 3) It doesn’t look too hot. If I can change it I will. I know it was stupid to play around with PC muscle exercises – and I won’t do them again. I just googled some methods and thought I would give them a go.
I don’t have the slightest clue where to begin.. An acupuncturist, energy worker, time traveler hehe? I really don’t know.. If anyone has an idea where to begin I would be grateful.
October 13, 2015 at 4:01 am #44954StevenModeratorUgg. This is but one of many reasons why I’m not a fan of sexual practices. I’ve run into so many folks that have screwed themselves up in one way or the other by some qi deviation as a result of some “accident”. At any rate, I digress . . .
Regarding your problem:
Sounds like you not only have some stuck qi in your abdomen, but likely also your psoas muscle in your lower back seized up into contraction. When your psoas muscle is tightly contracted, it pulls the buttocks inward and shoves the belly outward. Psoas muscle surrounds and protects the kidneys, which are the battery for sexual energy . . . but when the psoas muscle is seriously contracted and tight, it shuts off the Door of Life in the back, and can send the kidneys into overdrive. The psoas muscle probably got contracted as a combination of a) muscular cramping as a reaction to your event, b) energy in your abdomen pulling on the lower back, and c)resultant fear in your kidneys because you are afraid you hurt yourself.
So my initial attempt at resolution would be to focus on those issues, and see what progress can be had.
Consequently, regarding self-care, I’d recommend doing some Tao Yin exercises to help release the psoas muscle in the lower back. On the latter end, if you don’t know the Tao Yin and can’t connect with a live teacher, get ASAP Karin Sörvik’s Tao Yin DVD: Tao Yin DVD. It’s cheap; only $15, I believe.
However, there is also the energetic aspect of the stuck qi that you need to address pronto. Consequently, I’d also recommend that you immediately begin doing a lot of microcosmic orbit practice. You need to help the stuck qi to begin circulating and moving. This, in itself, could give you a lot of relief. For additional support, precede or follow the microcosmic orbit by the kidney healing sound exercise to release associated fear. I assume you know these; they are part of Qigong Fundamentals 1-2. If not, get this package immediately and begin practicing. See Qigong Fundamentals 1-2: Qigong Fundamentals 1-2
If there is a live HT teacher near you who can do some Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage healing) on you, that could also help. But if that’s not possible, I’d at least focus on the microcosmic orbit and the Tao Yin. In your case, I’d say those are probably the most valuable self-care tools.
Lastly, if you can’t get it to resolve on your own (or you are feeling a little impatient and want a boost), you could also contact Michael privately to schedule a healing session with him. He can do them over Skype and can help you break the qi deviation. I would recommend you try this before forking out a lot of money on an acupuncture protocol. Acupuncture would be the thing to try last, if nothing else seemed to work. Acupuncture can obviously be very helpful, but it greatly depends on the skill level of the acupuncturist as to whether you are helped (some are excellent) or it ends up being a big expense with little benefit.
Best,
StevenOctober 13, 2015 at 5:39 pm #44956PerceiverParticipantThanks for that amazingly helpful post Steven. Gotta say I hadn’t expected such a detailed quality reply :). I think your analysis is correct. I also noticed that my kidney area seems larger and expanded. Again; no pain though. And sometimes my hips/pelvis are tilting forward, driven by the lower back part of the groin which is being pulled downwards – psoas muscle contracted maybe? Seems plausible to me.
I will start the MCO again today. I know the kidney healing sound from Michael’s fundamentals so will do that too. Will give the Tao Yin DVD a try and may contact Michael too for his personal viewpoint.
Thanks for a lot for the advice – appreciate it.

I second the Tao Yin DVD, and also recommend getting Chia’s book as well. It goes into more detail about the energetics and has movements that aren’t on the DVD. The DVD, however, has movements that aren’t in the book.

October 14, 2015 at 10:54 pm #44962StevenModeratorThanks Perceiver and Jeff for your compliments.
I’d be interested to know if you (Perceiver) can get some stuff to shift with your issue. It sounds fixable, just need the right tools.
Yes, I do have a website:
