Can anyone please give me any advice on how to feel the energy circulate in the orbit? I’ve been practicing for nearly two years and still don’t feel the energy circulating. Does one need direct transmission from a teacher? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

April 24, 2005 at 10:38 am #5053wendyParticipantDon’t feel bad about it. I started with healing tao practice more than 10 years ago and I still don’t feel the orbit. I went through all the stages of discontent, anger, sadness because I didn’t manage to get it. So finally I stopped putting myself down and accepted the fact that it doesn’t work for me, does that make me a lesser person? I don’t think so.
I work more ‘chakra’ wise, center by center. Through the years I developed my three dantians and by now I feel them equally. Three wells of energy that I switch on or off.
A simple exercise that can help, (one I used to open the orbit from throat down, a part that I managed to feel quite well): breath in and push your breath down with a slight pressure on the inside of your body, go from throat to your thymus gland or even heart, if you have a feeling there, you push your breath deeper to the next center-s). Simple but effective.
Develop your practice with patience!
All the bestWendy

April 24, 2005 at 3:48 pm #5057wendyParticipantYes, by the exhale. But notice that your exhale is at the inside and front of your body, your intention is inside following the front channel, like you push something downwards using your breath. The exhale is longer and stronger than your inhale. Do it a couple of times until you feel the energy, than move lower with your deep exhale breath. Don’t force your breath, keep it natural yet a slight pressure exhaling is doing the trick. I don’t pause between inhale or exhale, but you can feel for yourself if it works better for you doing it.
Practicing this simple thing activates all the points/centers at the front. At least for me… good luck

Chi Nei Tsang = Deep Organ Massage where we try to unlock that information and/or the hard spots. As well organs can become exhausted by over using them.
Example: depleting kidneys by too much ejaculation
Then it is important to bring energy to that particular organ. You can do that in a simple way by rubbing but there are more advanced ways. Best to check a practioner on that in your area. You can massage yourself or let somebody work on it…
A daily massage of your own belly helps to losen the organs and the information that is stored. You create space to let the virtue linked to that organ come forward and grow. Empty your trash bins (organs) by massaging and using healing sounds at the same time. Nice start of a new day. Don’t forget to SMILE to your virtues/organs = great tool!
The more space the nicer the energy becomes, the more you feel full of energy and you will radiate!!
WendyApril 25, 2005 at 7:25 am #5061TordParticipantThe current is there already, you just have to feel it.
If you are not a very tactile person, as some people are, you may have to do with being certain, or visualize, that the current is there. If it wasn’t, you would collapse.Standing qigong is recommended.
All yoga is recommended, especially kriya yoga.
Push-ups is especially recommended.Be always sure that your grounding is secure.
Peace,

practice for twelve years
then come backyou practised for two plus years. you have already learned.
I have been studying it. I still didn’t get it. I learned many things.
It is quite a Ginny lamp.April 25, 2005 at 12:27 pm #5065singing oceanParticipantMovement qigong works well for me, you might try M.Winn’s microcosmic orbit set. regular practice helps as well, with a focused intention. Try 25-30 minutes a day.
April 25, 2005 at 4:23 pm #5067jsritParticipanttry to listen to the meridians instead of controling them!

inner smile and healing sounds to detoxify and relax
DONT TRY, MY FRIEND
Check out the book Spiritual Qigong by David Twicken if you havent yet.
always massaga before and after, face head neck torso arms legs–this is the best part
just let it flow, dont try
April 25, 2005 at 7:25 pm #5069singing oceanParticipantI agree, let the Qi flow happen instead of guiding it, go inside your body, listen inside and feel your inner self.
