realized the meaning of emptyness: it is opening the channels so that thoughts naturaly come in rather than being forced
just looked up the meaning of zen:
A Buddhist doctrine that enlightenment can be attained through direct intuitive insight
intuitive – Spontaneously derived from or prompted by a natural tendency
insight – The clear (and often sudden) understanding of a complex situation
even if the mind seems to be moving very slow, you just have to wait for the truth to come to you and open the channels, remembering the last truth that was revealed will lead you to the next, and your/our vibration will keep growing higher
There is a kind of trust and recognition of and cooperation with an innate intelligence, akin to the idea of “conscience”–the natural innate intelligence, the dao.
Meaning of religion: re-ligio: “linking back”.
Regarding opening of channels–yes, and on a more basic level, if your health is just plain poor and/or you are filled with emotional and moral troubles, it is very difficult to find this subtler, “sudden” way. So the sudden intuitive way needs a proper introduction, needs you to be a good host to prepare the way. And if it is sudden, it is sudden again and again and again…
