Hi,
I would like to try incorporating daoist mudras into my practice, especially Huashan mudra (for balancing yin/yang energies) which was presented by Michael Winn on Fundamentals 2 Audio course.
Unfortunately I do not have an opportunity to attend the retreat live so I would like to ask if anybody knows how to do it or has any photo of it available?
Thanks for any help 🙂
Magda
You might try finding a local Healing tao instructor who studied with him to show you.
I didn’t get it too. Found one who studied with Michael Winn. But upon contemplating instruction and its intent developed something that i like and didn’t bother in asking out.
The four fingers wrapped around thumb. That is traditional version.
One hand four finger wrapped around thumb, the other hand wrapped around such fist, thumb covering one opening the four fingers of the ‘fist’ create, pinkie covering the other opening the four finger of the ‘fist’ create. Then adjust to groove.
Thank you for your reply, Jernej.
I am from the other part of the globe, neither Healing Tao teachings are popular here, nor people studying it easy fo find.
I hoped somebody on the forum would know…
I am guessing the mudra you have described looks like this:

Yeah, I think it is nice to exeperiment and develope something on your own. I sometimes just connect my two palms together in a way my intuition tells me at the moment. Nevertheless curious mind always wants to know how and why?…
‘Fist’ is closing of a hand.
This is combining closing of hands and connecting the hands in onion fashion with center in middle.
Your choice disperses the deep center in favor of sky heaven.
