Anybody here down with the dzogchen? I started reading “healing with form, energy and light” and it seems pretty cool. The SPACE element is in the middle, and tree is gone, replaced with air (compared to the tao).
I find the space element to be very enlightening, you? Opening the space in the body seems to be the master key to enlightenment?

Space and light, both, together.
I guess that has something to do with the deep center?
Now how does that relate to time?

Oops, just to clarify: I’m not speaking from familiarity with dzogchen, only from my own understanding (such as it is).

Yes.

So far out of my depth on that one that I couldn’t even pass on misinformation. 😀
there is one cosmic human being, be it
I recommend a book called ‘Primordial Experience’, by Manjusrimitra–translators/commentators, Namkhai Norbu, Kennard Lipman.
Time and timelessness happen at the same time.
We don’t have to make this happen; it already is the case; it’s a matter of noticing, like seeing into an optical illusion. Generally in dzogchen they emphasize getting good at regular old meditative concentration first–the idea being that otherwise the subtlety of this ‘view’ will be hard to grasp in the first place, and hard to maintain in order to bring about integrated alchemical change of experience in the second place.
Energy body work is also prevalent in the dzogchen tradition, just as in daoism, and actually Namkhai Norbu is very interested in and is an advocate of daoist practices.
