The Back is Yang and is used to harmonize yin, the Five Yin Organs. Yang treating Yin.
The Arms wrap the front of the body, this is Yin harmonizing the Yang Organs. Yin treating Yang.
This is Yin-Yang therapy, how one harmonizes each other. So many ways to say the same thing. Yin-Yang, Hun-Po, Du-Ren, Tiger-Dragon, on and…[Read more]

Its sad that you need to present this as Chia vs Winn.
If you have questions on Michael’s work then just ask him what he means, he is very good at responding to his students.

Hello:
I know both of them and know what they teach in detail.
It is absolutely ridicoulous to think M. Chia didnt know all kan and li (and much more), he taught Michael the formulas, without Chia, Michael would not have learned them.
I like both, somethings from each of them I dont do as my personal preference is different, but these are…[Read more]

Hi Fajin:
I tend to be very practical and down to earth in my experience and cultivation. Being calm, peaceful and enjoying the moment allows life to enlighten us. Its tricky to talk about this level or that level, they may exist but it forces Yi to chase and try to understand something it cannot.
What drives Yi to want to…[Read more]

Hi SO:
Neutrality is not the end result, it is the space that allows us to experience life as it is, it allows one to see life in all its variety. Neutral is a consciousness or awareness that reveals both the macro and micro aspects of life. It allows us to experience the full range of life.

Hi Michael:
Very nice post.
Do we all share the same experiences walking through each of the formulas? In other words is the energetics of each formula and its corresponding Qi Field the same for all who walk this path?

On confucism, why dont you read some books on it, I think the philosophy is clear.
For the alchemy, Im not referring to anything particular, just a more general observation of the way people approach alchemy. One thing though, in my experience complex people need complex systems, people with a simple, clear view use simple, direct methogds.…[Read more]

Hi,
I mentioned Confucism was in tune with tao. Confucuan lived in the warrring periods, civil war in china, one of its most brutal time frames. No order, chaos, murder, rape, etc.
Confucist saw a natural order the I Ching presented, he create guidance for a people in chaos, he uses the relationships inside hexagrams and applies them to…[Read more]

I think it is important to understand ancient Chinese culture, basically they beleived the living and dead existed simultaneously, that illness was a curse of the ancestors, not treating living people correctly would cause their ancestors to punish you or not appeasing the dead could too. It was standard beleif each person would be alive in…[Read more]

Kuan Yin is a male, it is the female aspect of male. I tried telling a few people this and stopped after a few times, their attachement to Kuan Yin being a female was so strong they got angry with me. -

His desire seems to go against what taoist theory presents and definitey Lao Zi, one could use this as an example of the twisted, extreme of this system of desire to be immortal, his free will to become worshipped? What a poor example of our tradition?

It seems to me Daoism was an evolving thing, people just think what we see today was what it always was.
Yin-Yang and Five Phases it appears was not created by taoists, they were into cosmology, later in the warring periods and Han dynasties they included them. So Daosm was never a complete system including all views, the I Ching changed…[Read more]
