From a daoist point of view, the fragmented shen that have not integrated go back into the pool of collective shen and are then picked up by other beings manifesting into the physical plane in a different configuration, where they will hopefully achieve resolution.

Qigong is also beneficial and probably more integrative for health and longevity purposes.

It is probably useful to point out like michael has done above, that people (like myself) tend to give human, animal or insect like forms to things that are sometimes formless in astral or deeper planes.

I have been to China twice on the trip that Michael leads.
