I’d wait more than 2 months, just to give your body time to respond.
Maybe more like 4 months. You are going to want to look at the herb catalog again at that time, rather than just beginning to add the extra items you list. They may not seem like the right choices anymore depending on how you feel.
PLUS as I said there is a lot of…[Read more]

You quote from books re: Mo Pai.
I have had direct experience, seen things with my own eyes, and talked directly with people in that group. What is portrayed in books is not necessarily an adequate reflection of reality, or what the path is about. BTW: John Chang is NOT the only lineage holder of this path; that’s a faulty assumption on your…[Read more] -

It wasn’t any judgment; it was a simple observation based on the fact that the forum is filled up–almost half by your posts–all more or less on the same topic. ๐
I’m smiling when I’m saying this, so don’t get all worked up, ha ha.
It’s important to have humor in this whole thing. But in all seriousness:
As far as how you wish to process,…[Read more] -

Everything is good for everything, but standing is selectively better for the kidneys.
When you stand, you press Kidney-1 (Bubbling Well) source point directly against the earth which not only activates the point but allows the qi from the Earth (which is water-dominated) to rise up into your body through this point. Your feet making firm…[Read more] -

Hi nomad,
When people try to lose weight, they usually either try to diet and starve themselves (doesn’t work, as it just shuts the metabolism down) or they work like a dog through exercise. The problem with the latter is that often you eat more to compensate for the calories that you burn and it can wear your body out.
Best approach is a…[Read more]

Sounds like you burned up your kidney qi reserves.
You probably need to work to build this back up.I think aerobic exercise is actually good, because it strengthen the cardiovascular system . . . it’s one of the reasons why I like Tai Chi 2 (Fast Form) . . . but the trick is, to not overdo the aerobic type exercises. There’s a fine line…[Read more]

Regarding this post, all the subposts of this one, and other posts on these issues . . .

I agree with this post.
Yes, giving in to carnal earthly desires is perfectly natural, and not to be avoided. The only real question is: when you give in and indulge, what is your underlying purpose for doing so . . . is it for self-serving, selfish, power-hungry goals, OR is it to free yourself from limitations of self-judgment, to be…[Read more]

Judging by your Winnie-the-Pooh picture,
I wish to clarify something.Daoism is not Satanism.
Yes, there are some similarities, so let me get the similarities out of the way, so one can actually see how they are in fact different.
Similarities:
1. Both reject the dogma, doctrines, and authority of scriptural religions
2. Both…[Read more] -

I find that either folks vigorously defend their training wheels, refusing to give them up, and treating them with some bizarre reverence–or they throw away the whole assembly, bike and all. Neither one actually sees the bike.
