Well, the Lesser Kan & Li practice itself has a lot
of applications and benefits alone.
It helps resolve psycho-sexual emotional issues.
It helps resolve Water/Fire, Inner Male / Inner Female issues.
It resolves Yin-Yang tension.
It generates Yuan Qi, which is neutral unprogrammed qi, that
like Stem Cells (but the energetic version) can…[Read more] -

War is simply a pathetic attempt to thwart free will
and impose a collective form of control on those under assault.
The collective can not thwart free will. It never has,
and it never will. I find it sad that the collective is
too stupid to realize this and still keeps trying. The only good thing is that the resulting chaos promotes…[Read more]

You could become conditioned to becoming sexually aroused if

I would allow some, because as c_howdy says, some of it
is simply underdeveloped muscles and tendons. Some of it
is also energy rushing through blocked areas. However, it is also important not to overdo it.
Some things need time to develop, and if you push yourself
too much, you can trigger injury and/or negative detox…[Read more] -
Steven replied to the topic eating and showering in the forum Practice 11 years, 4 months ago
I personally have no problems showering immediately before or after practice.
Similarly, I personally have no problems eating immediately after practice.
If I eat a meal, I usually have no problems doing standing practice afterward.
For vigorous movement, I usually wait until I feel comfortable [about an hour].But everyone is…[Read more]

They are demonstrated on the QF4 video.
There are a few places on the QF4 video where certain things
would make more sense if you already knew counterforce breathing
from QF3 audio set, but it is not critical. You could start
watching and learning from the QF4 video immediately without much loss.S

Steven replied to the topic Michael Winn healing kidneys in the forum Practice 11 years, 4 months ago
Reverse breathing (as in QF3), done correctly, is a safe way to charge the kidneys.
Separate from that:
The qi packing method from Iron Shirt 1–for reasons you mention, as well
as others–I think is a dangerous method. I do not teach it when I teach
Iron Shirt 1.In any case, some time after the Iron Shirt 1 book was written, Master…[Read more]

Steven replied to the topic Chi Kung for insomnia in the forum Practice 11 years, 4 months ago
By its very nature, qigong tends to stimulate and provide energy,
rather than sedate. Doing the Triple Warmer sound while in bed
can be one thing you can do . . . however, I personally find
that the “melting into the earth” exercise to be far more effective.
It avoids any unintended body stimulation. However, oftentimes waking up early…[Read more]

He is basically talking about “reverse breathing”.
This method is discussed on the QF3 audio set.Dantian-mingmen breathing can be done in either
natural breathing or reverse breathing format
depending on what you are trying to achieve.S

Steven replied to the topic practices for developing vertical surrender in lower dantian in the forum Practice 11 years, 4 months ago
It is really your preference.
Personally I just prefer to do relaxed abdominal breathing,
drop my consciousness into my abdomen, and feel the earth
connection beneath my feet. I feel this amplifies the
grounding effect, and for me, is the real purpose of doing
Iron Shirt 1.But if you want to do packing, MO, etc., there is nothing…[Read more]

Inner Smile
and
Standing Practice (e.g. Iron Shirt 1, Yiquan, etc.)are probably the two best for getting you to surrender
to what is and to be able to just be, resonating from
your core. Standing Practice is critical for grounding
and getting you out of your head / into your body.
Inner Smile’s unconditional acceptance helps in…[Read more] - Load More
