You ask a question that comes from the mind

It’s perfectly fine to do on its own.
If you feel an imbalance in your heart, too much
heat, too much impatience, whatever, then it is
point of the sound to release it. Heart sounds

It’s a nice practice.

After getting experienced with it, you can do it
almost anywhere . . . but for concentrated practice,
especially right in the beginning, a stable firm chair
in a quiet location is best for really going deeply.
