I agree. I’m reminded of Jack Schwartz. At a young age he found he had the power to replicate many Yogi Siddhis. Particualarly body control, piercing himself w/ no pain or blood loss.
He’d ask his body part are you willing to be pierced. If the mental imagery he got back was right, he’d pierce himself or do similar bodily stunts.

Actually I think one indication that you’re in a cult is when the GREAT LEADER is considered no longer a mere human. Once a person starts believing there followers press releases they’re setting themselves up for uhmnn glorious martyrdom?!
Peace

I think its only in the last 200 years or so that the West has identified the head as the ‘thinking organism’.
Its so clear to us we ‘think’ in our brains. For most of mankinds history is wasn’t considered thus.

Ah, but part II of my statement is that the organ thingies are vital, complex and do far more then we realize. Psychosomatic thinking produces real life, measurable changes.
I do think if I imagine my liver to be a beautiful green swamp, filtering, cleaning and a hot bed for life; it does have a positive affect on the organ. The heart even…[Read more]

I have great respect for keeping it simple and I can see how Westerners can get into a spiritual ‘rat race’ where the eye is on the next hot technique. A mindset that is the very opposite of ‘be here now’.
I am just a beginer albeit a long time beginner(up to maybe Fusion) w/ the HT stuff. Personally I don’t believe in my vital organs having…[Read more]

The persecution of the Fa Lun movement in China has been criminal. The fact that the Chinese government is so against it speaks highly in its favor. The things I’ve read about FaLun practitioners has always been positive.
But like it or not there are cultish aspects to it. But isn’t that always what the big religion calls the small…[Read more]

There are many things about fundamentalism that are good. Having absolute faith. Crystal clear ethical guides. Supreme confidence that you are on your way to heaven.
Ah, the dark side.. Other practices are the devils way. Your way is the only way. Others are wrong and being manipulated by evil powers.
Taint worth it. Not until the…[Read more]
