Deep Healing Qigong is a form of medical qigong originally developed for use in Chinese hospitals. Many hospitals in China have medical qigong departments, where the “Chi doctors” show to work wearing white coats. The “prescriptions” they give patients are qigong exercises. The form was used in its basic form to help many tens of thousands of chronically ill patients to regain their health.
I tested this form, and liked it. But I also saw that it could be greatly improved by super-charging it with advanced Taoist internal alchemy methods (that most qigong doctors in China would not know). I re-designed it to stimulate healing not only on the physical but also on the emotional, mental and spiritual levels.
Some of the methods used in this form include: purification with healing earth chi from the five sacred directions; circulation of unconditional love to the body’s five main organs; opening and harmonizing the three “cauldrons” in the belly, heart and head; and It teaches the secret of completely emptying the body using the chi from the sun and deep earth. By the end it creates a magical “elixir” or “inner medicine” in your body that continues to heal you long after you’ve stopped practicing.
This simple and easy-to-learn qigong form gracefully combines breathing, sound, movement, feeling, and invocation of divine intention. If I had a life-threatening or life–altering disease, this is one of the main forms I would use to heal my self. The more serious the disease, the longer practice time is needed every day. But if you are ill, you may need to build up practice time slowly.
Sometimes, when I do this form, the chi is so strong that the hair on my body stands on end as I feel waves of energy pulsating through my body. If you are sick, it is this kind of free-flowing chi that dissolves your chronic illness.
This form is a perfect complementary-opposite to Primordial Tai Chi, as it moves clockwise through the directions and cultivates very grounding post-natal healing chi (rather than formless chi). Many people buy these two DVDs together to form a very powerful and complementary healing program.
Movements are simple and can be performed by anyone, including wheelchair bound. It has not only been successfully used by thousands of patients in China for serious physical illnesses, but can also be of great benefit to anyone seeking spiritual cultivation or the resolution of mental or emotional problems.

One Testimonial Says it All:
“This Qigong Healed Me on Many Profound Levels!”
“Deep Healing Qigong is my absolute favorite form, as it is
one of the most powerful I’ve come across.
For starters, I was able to use continued
practice of this form to help break emotional
and energetic difficulties I faced upon the ending
of a long-term relationship. It seems to have a magical
quality that helps to eliminate addictive habitual
patterns–be they physical or emotional.
On the health front, I’ve been able to shorten the
stay of physical illnesses through the use of this form.
Despite feeling rotten and unpleasant while practicing,
I’ve had some colds and flu end in a much shorter time
than I thought possible.
One beautiful thing about this form I’ve found, is that
it seems to work on multiple levels. When I was first
learning the form, I found that the parts of the form that
I really liked, provided immediate benefits; whereas–to my
surprise–I found that the parts of the form that I *didn’t* like as much, would create profound shifts that would hit me days later. Moreover, I’ve found the form to actually get stronger and stronger through continued practice. It’s
as if repeated practice causes it to tune in “deeper”.
This is a wonderful ceremonial form to practice on solstices
and equinoxes. In particular, I’ve found that if I practice
the Deep Healing Qigong on the Winter Solstice, it will
create sudden wonderful changes in my life at a surprising time weeks later.
You don’t need to have any experience in the Healing Tao
to learn this form (in fact, it was the first thing I learned), and in that case, the form provides a wonderful overview of
things you’ll learn later in more depth. Then, as your
knowledge base increases, you’ll find your understanding
of the form deepen and you’ll find the form to get even
stronger.
All in all, I can’t recommend this form enough”
