I know that the tai chi for enlightenment and deep healing qigong were compared and contrasted back in november 05.
I just have a question about the 2.
Is it OK to do deep healing qigong followed by wuji qigong/tai chi for enlightenment?. Does anyone know if it will be complimentary to perfom them in this order?
Man, I’ve been asking a lot of questions lately (sorry)

After primordial I don’t feel exhausted, but feel very balanced, and again just want to sit and meditate. When I do the primordial in a natural setting, I sometimes just get into a flow and keep going and do another set.
In any case, I think that the two could be done in either order of first or second. But, you might want to sit with a simple inner smile in between.

Chris is right; they can be done in either order. Deep Healing works with post natal chi,
and Wuji takes you into pre-natal center of things. And we are always vibrating back and forth between the two, without end.
I consider the pair to be brother and sister forms, one goes counter clockwise and the other clockwise.
Best is to ask your shen before you start, “which should I do now?”.And let me know how you find the synergy.

how does one seal the microcosmic orbit once he gets it flowing? The reason i ask this is because in daily life one such as myself doesn’t live in a natrual open enviroment but on the contrary i have to work under alot of stress in a closed environmet.
So with that in mind one doesn’t always want to have his microcosmic orbit open because than he would be more exposed and vulnrable.
This leads me to think that there got to be some way for tuning the orbit on and off, So is there a way to do that?
thanx in advance

Perhaps before and after qigong practice, making sure it is open, also, making sure it is open every hour, might help. I dont know how sealable it is, but more like an ideal. Perhaps there is a part of it that keeps closeing. Perhaps just fix that part. Perhaps you need a new job. Maybe you need a new way of living? Maybe we need to die for it to really open. Who knows? Id say the best bet is to grow virtues rather than open it.

From what i understood from Michael Winn on his tapes the microcosmic and virtues complement and support each other: you want the microcosmic orbit open to enable the virtues to flow into all the organs which in turn create more virtues energy.
my problem is finding the connection between the flow/virtues with everyday life regarding communciating with other people and basically doing what i like. i know that to some extent i have to change some things in my life. i’m not sure what there are but until i find i’d rather know how can i control the practice and not being overloaded and over frustraded not being able to act according to the virtues or sense of flow in real life.
any way i don’t expect to get a straight answer this is just something that i’d like to share and know if anyone had some thaughts or experience with it
