According to a recent conversation I had on another forum, all over the world now isolated kundalini-asts are experiencing downflow cool/cold spinal movements.
One experienced magician said:

I feel that the world is learning about this together . To the best of my knowledge nothing has been written in the ancient esoteric sources about water kundalini in fact most of these works are limited in their scope to flames that acend . Actually kundalini ascends and descends and recently isolated people across the globe on various forums have reported feeling a cold wet energy coming down the spine as opposed to the burning energy of the well known kundalini . Imho , this reflects the slow evolution of the cosmology of human spirit.

March 2, 2007 at 8:20 am #21457NnonnthParticipantYour flood admits of manifold interpretations though…
Can’t I just say it? Flood time is 2012 isn’t it? And it will be a fine time for those who know how to surf, a survivable one for those who can swim, and for those can do neither – a disaster.
Or am I making this too simple?
As for water kundalini – I feel it is also a correction of a long-term imbalance. There those – who are mostly absent from the forum these days and who shall remain nameless – who criticized Michael’s move away from kundalini as stepping away from the plate. Now I wonder just how much any ‘pure ascent’ path can ever attain centredness…

I can feel heat in the winter and then in the change over to summer (quite rapid here) I experience a little discomfort and then its seems to spontaneously shift. Its an amazing feeling cool energy, refreshing and invigorating and it defies current logic of cold as merely the absence of heat, it has a life of its own. It makes sense however if you live in a hot climate. Fire Kundalini is for cold weather or the tops of mountains.
I think if you are in contact with neutral energy , cold or hot will manifest as required. I belive that this is what is happening to me.Dylan

I trust that when time comes I will be informed somehow, that my intuition will be attuned enough to take the appropriate action. That is why I train myself in ‘listening’ to the symbols and signals that are surrounding us.
Everything we need is outthere, as a mega screen of signals screaming at us, asking for us to listen. That is why I look forward to my new space as my parnter will leave the house soon. For his overheated yang energy is making too much noise, a swirrling dynamic that is too disturbing for me to have time and space to ‘listen’.
When crossing boundaries in time and space, you have to create time and space first,…add open mind, open ears and open heart, patience and endurance, and all will unfold.

I read today that the snow on the mount Everest is melting fast…

The body is the ultimate mechanism for interacting with an energetic universe it is an organic part of and it has infinite capabilities like its creator.
I think the real work for us is in continually clearing things the ego sticks to like fears and judgments because those are the things that keep us from flowing, staying connected and intact. I think of rising and falling – ascending and descending – simply as aspects of this dualistically oriented universe, the yin and yang interaction which is ever-balancing things. The Sage, so to speak, has to stay stable through all such changes. So not focussing on the bipolarity of kundalini and instead focussing on the central channel and yuan chi which unifies it all is the work that works.
I also think we will be going through some pretty intense stages of this for some time. I would LIKE to think the 2012 date has something to do with it but I think it has more to do with the choices we make how fast we can transmute and integrate as we go along.
All this thinking in the moment preceding the empty space of the eclipse we are now stepping into…
Taking a Deep Breath,
AlexanderMarch 2, 2007 at 6:38 pm #21465NnonnthParticipant… on the changes and coping therewith. Mind you I’m beginning to find this rather fun. But I thought it was very interesting that this particular practice, the kundalini-raising I mean, had found this particular change happening. You know there have been some who say that the very idea of descending serpent power is evil! I know I know, why pay attention to them? Well… just because I like to see what everyone says.
I know everything we are doing affects everything that is happening. But remember the 2012 date (presuming everyone got their maths right in translating it) is not anything but astronomical observation. We’re talking about earth changes here, what humans do with them or how they see them being something else…
I have a vision of the earth herself struggling to absorb the new energy and remain centred…

The word kundalini actually comes from the word kunda, meaning ‘a deeper place, pit or cavity’. The fire used in the ceremony of initiation is kindled in a pit called kunda. Similarly, the place where a dead body is burned is called kunda. If you dig a ditch or a hole it is called kunda. Kunda refers to the concave cavity in which the brain, resembling a coiled and sleeping serpent, nestles. (If you have had the opportunity of examining a dissection of the human brain you will see that it is in the form of a coil or snake curled up on itself). This is the true meaning of kundalini”
For myself I have noticed that ‘lini’ seems to be associated with ‘spirit’ and ‘kun’ seems associated with the earth. I have wondered if the simple origin of the term was just something like ‘spirit of the earth’ which is conducted through the body and connected to ‘heaven’. No suggestion it has to be all fire.

I know what you mean. I think we have to or we’re screwed.

There are some people who question the math, saying Arguelles’ figures are wrong. But I have found that even some Mayan groups align with his work. And there sure have been changes that are in alignment with the periods indicated by his system starting with the Harmonic Convergence. In the end, I think all these things are negotiable.
I like to let my fear of the process come to the surface and then sit with it until it’s lost in the bigger picture where I have nothing left to do but surrender and go with.
Ah, surrender,
AlexanderMarch 3, 2007 at 3:17 pm #21471Michael WinnKeymasteranother interpretation of the roots of Kunda is that it comes from ancient term for “Chandra”, or moon – which clerly regulates the water of life.
The Fire types will eventually get tired of fighting the rising global wave of Water, aka female fire. It’s never one or the other, always Water & Fire or Fire & Water. There is no one way orbit…..so those of here know alredy, the Taoists were severalthousand years ahead of the times as far as the West is concerned…
mMarch 3, 2007 at 3:23 pm #21473Michael WinnKeymasterAny time prediction is based on heaven -earth cycles of changes. But even if those change on schedule, and even if the prediction was accurate, i would expect an additional delay as humans in their quasi-retarded way are slow to reflect the changes. So expect the real dust to settle around 2015……
I will be happy to hold the wagers on any betting pool. 🙂

Kundalini is the nectar substance whereby our spirit embodies. As such any of the elemental qualities can be used to start the process. Because we are talking of embodiment and simultaneously the flowing quality of spirit, combined with long meditation needing a seducing quality to hold the practitioner; water becomes a natural.
While this might be different to some teachings, the heart is a natural place for this spirit water integration, provided it is from a very deep place that ends up providing a cosmic blueprint of the process.
Then in the back of the head (and the head as a whole), there is a place where the subtle energies merge into a barely physical-etheral substance that then can have a chance of further play into the body through cultivation.
Fire is freedom and the seeing, but water is its vehicle. However, this is just your prefered starting point, the two are simultaneous, otherwise nothing goes anywhere for long.
A proper depth results in the cool leading the fire, not the other way around, unless your practice is simply to transcend the physical as quickly as possible. The initial sensation of coolness leading can be from the bottom up, top down, or other ways – it depends on how you are cultivating it. Working with the water element in depth and gaining its wisdom takes consderably longer to gain results than a visualization of fire, but when successful, you are one with it all and there is no doubt. You get there first in a very subtle way beyond the elements, then you progress by unfolding from that point of purity, otherwise its just our endless play.
I believe the reason that you will not see so many written doctrines using the water element as an emphasized starting point is because it cannot be put into a formula so easily and is a very intimate affair. In the naga realms these practices are very sacred and treasured, and as such there is a strong lineage behind them, but it is an entirely different construct than you would see for example in most teachings or accepted social norms.Virochana
