I send this link to Michael to shed some light on his photo of plasma balls or bubbles, as some of you will remember…
But I figured that this could be interesting information for some of you as well. And of course, I couldn’t resist the information on the dragons and the nine, which is a silent queste on itself for me.
As for Silbury Hill, the mount Michael and his gang climb at night or early morning when he is teaching in England, for it is forbidden to go up there.
I have my personal experience with it.
Going up there at night with 4 (Chris/voice amongst) I felt that the most wise thing to do was to lay down on the top, while the others liked to do some primordial.
After awhile I felt the whole universe entering my body, I never ever felt it so physical and genuine, like the sky map was projected into my body map. That was the reason I did not participate in the early morning doing primordial with the whole group. I was still digesting the sky map (now you know Michael).Only later we heared and I understood immediately my experience that Silbury Hill was in ancient times a giant pond reflecting the sky. That is why I never liked to move on top of that hill (been there before) but prefered to be quiet. Lying down flat on my back was just an amazing experience.

One of the Nine Dragons; The Golden Dragon or Cosmic Dragon was given greater importance than his fellow kinsfolk. Said to be the colour of the Sun, like an Amber Gamboler I suspect, this Dragon was described as an elusive, enigmatic, august and solitary creature that disdained display. Scholars wrote: “He can be large or small, short or long, obscure or manifest, alive or dead. The King cannot drain his pool or catch him (like we cannot catch the genuine Circlemakers). His intelligence and virtue are unfathomable. He does not go in company or live in herds. He waits for the wind and rain and deports himself in the azure air. He wanders in the wilds among the heavens. He comes and goes, and at the proper season (Summer!), if there is perfection, he comes forth, if not, he remains unseen”. (See References)
The Golden Dragon also appears in ancient Egypt. The first religion of Egypt was based on Nine Creation Gods, and like the Nine Dragons of China, one was deified more than any other. Named Atum, he represented The Emissary of the Nine Gods; the Messenger of Messengers who in one act of divine communication was said to have given birth to the fundamental forces of the Universe, symbolised by the Nine Gods. He is depicted in sculpture as The Great Sphinx at Giza.

Of Egyptian dudes, I got to say, I do love Anubis. His tail is cool. Those people knew stuff.

what you mean counting nine there? where there?
what is ogdoadic, my babelfish translation program does not know that word (remember English is not my native tongue)As for the exact explanations you are asking the wrong person.
I always get confirmations afterwards, so I keep everything open, never ask why but let it arise and answers follow natural or not, most of the time patience is acquired to let the answer arise, keeping eyes, ears and mind/heart open…
Anubis is cool 🙂

It’s ok I thought you were talking about that there Ogdoad wot they had in Egypt but this is only hearsay, I don’t know more myself. One of their creation myths. There is still an ‘ogdoadic tradition’ of western magick.
I could tell you a story about Anubis but this ain’t the place. One day I will visit Belgium and enjoy astral moules frites with a nice Leffe Brune. On my way back I will stop off in Romania and castrate Paolino – his dick will be useful in a blessing spell I am concocting, because his charitable works amongst the disadvantaged in Romania have become semi-legendary.
Speaking of, what *about* that whole ‘obscene, irrelevant, inflammatory’ thing I see here moderator? Just exactly how many lines does a person have to cross before they qualify as any of these?

March 11, 2007 at 10:45 am #21608wendyParticipantIn Egyptian mythology, the Ogdoad are the eight deities worshipped in Hermopolis. They were arranged in four male-female pairs, with the males associated with frogs, and the females with snakes: Nu/Naunet, Amun/Amaunet, Kuk/Kauket, Huh/Hauhet. Apart from their gender, there was little to distinguish the male god in a pair from the female goddess; indeed, the names of the males are merely the male forms of the female name. Essentially, each pair represents the male and female aspect of one of four concepts, namely the primordial waters (Nu/Naunet), air or invisibility (Amun/Amunet), darkness (Kuk/Kauket), and eternity or infinite space (Huh/Hauhet).
Together the four concepts represent the primal fundamental state of the beginning, they are what always was. In the myth, however, their interaction ultimately proved to be unbalanced, resulting in the arising of a new entity. When the entity opened, it revealed Ra, the fiery sun, inside. After a long interval of rest, Ra, together with the other gods, created all other things.
There you have the ninth….
And if you come to Belgium we will eat physical moules frites and drink Leffe, and you can tell me all about Anubis…
March 11, 2007 at 11:08 am #21610voiceParticipantSince I can’t join the two of you in Belgium for treats and Anubis stories, could I entreat you to share your story here?
The reason being, Anubis has appeared in my inner space twice: once at the end of my Sun-Moon-Alchemy retreat in Glastonbury with Michael in 2002, and the second time in the middle of the same in 2006. I didn’t know what it was, but my description had both Wendy and Michael say “Anubis?”. I found some pictures and, sure enough, it was him.
But, when I read about the Egyptian system (ogdoad?), I do not connect at all. All the strange names, the shifting identities…I go numb. But, when I remember Anubis inside, I feel certain strength/knowledge. Then, I don’t know what to do with it, so leave it until someone starts talking about Anubis and moules frites (is that his favorite food? 🙂 ).

Erm, well I'm a magician. My 1st instinct is if you want to know about a god and he happens to be there, well… talk to him! NN
