Hello
Today I have reached a goal. To stand in the standing tree for 100 abdominal breaths. I had reach 60 breaths and had a mental barrier there. So today when reaching 60 I thought i might do some more breaths and the rest to 100 was wery easy.
Well I had to put down the arms for some breaths two times. It feels quite nice to let them hang down and the shoulders relax in nice way, after the efort. relaxing down into the earth.
I come into some periods of ballance in the body where I was able to realy feel into the tan tien. But most of the time I have to focus on balancing the body.
1 Relaxing the lower stomach. (It gets tight again and again. )
2 pulling in the sacrum without tighting the stomach.
3 Not leaning forward or backward.
4 lifting up the sternum and pulling back the neck, to get the owercurved upper back more aligned. Doing this without influencing the stomach or the sternum is hard.
5 Getting a balanced feet on the grouund. A bit dificult beacase I have to stand on a ortopedic made sole. And roots down
6 Relaxing the sholders
7 Breathing into the sholders when hurt a bit when holding the arms out
8 Relax tensions in the lower arms.
9 Looking the arms and legs. With the rotations. So most of the time the most of the atentions go round in loops to check out this things. But today I also reached some short times when I felt everthing was correct, or almost corect. Compared to my level of achivement.

as is not locking the knee.
having legs straight, neither bent nor locked
with ankled wider then the hips
that makes a inverse Y shape of torso-legs-structure where legs are not used or relied upon for structure
which is great for letting the kwa over
in timean effordless standing.
same should apply for hands.
of course knees can get bent or 180 degree straight, but every such action should be result of movement of kwa and not legs
hence bending the knees is irrelevant except as ex post confirmation
and hence can be abandoned as ex ante sutraoccasionally straight leg while moving from kwa
can be observed in chia and favorito tai chi chi kung video demonstration.
juan li iron shirt pictures omitt developing knee metaphore while emphasizing the ankle and kwa, which is telling.
some other styles also demonstrate locking or 180 degree knee expanstion, or even more. but if it is not the gentles practice it is the easiest way to destroy one’s knees. -
