As I post this message hopefully there will be no baggage like the last one:
I found this website http://www.islt.com.hk/ they follow the Inner Alchemy practices of this teacher Wu Yun Tsing who according to records lived to 160. Most of the site is in Chinese but do have sections in english. So if anyone out there knows of translating software it would be nice to know what they are all about?

I know some rudimentary chinese and will try to extract some fragments with the help of my hardware (dictionary). Will take probably two more days till I find the time to do it. But don’t hope for much regarding my translation!!!shabd

I read the page : “Three steps of Nei Dan practice” that describes the courses they are offering.
They talk about health, a healthy body and longevity and how this can be obtained with the help of their practice. (Yangsheng Qigong – nourishing life).
The teacher presenting the stuff seems to have practiced kungfu at Shaolin monstery as well as Taijiquan and cultivated hard for twenty years under the guidance of a 100 years old monk.
(not 100% sure about this here – could also be, he practiced for twenty years until he shapeshifted into a 100 year old monk, or else he started 100 years of fierce cultivation practice beginning with the age of twenty 😉Then he received the transmission of the 160 year old Wu Yunqing. Don?t miss this opportunity they say.
Teaching of the first course is pysical movement practice consisting of eight parts:
Honouring Buddha Quantum (???)-Practice
Spring returns 1
Spring returns 2
Spring returns 3
On the clouds practice
Swimming dragon practice
Draw in head like a turtle practice
Return to buddhahood quantum (??)-practiceQuantum (liangzi) probably means something else in ancient chinese I guess! Or are they now into the what the bleep thing? 🙂
Second level teaching is through oral transmission, you should have trained sufficently in the first level before advancing. They state:
train so that Jing transforms into qi, qi into shen
train so that shen returns to Nothingness, preserve the self (?)
self obtains the spiritual elixir medicine (Ling Dan Yao),
why then go deep into the mountains to search for the medicine? They talk about pre- and post heaven qi as well and the mind (heart), looks like meditation practice, does it.
Third level will take you ?even one level higher?.
? In the third step, to cultivate the Original Essence (Yuan Jing) turns out to be quite profound. The vast abundance of the Pre-Heaven Qi forms the basis to climb one level further. The practitioner learns to return and grow the purified inner Qi at the Dantian and drop-recycle chaotic turbid Qi.
Using eight movements that are even one level higher (than the ones of the first level), one builds a stable foundation for one?s health. The eight movements are named:
Honouring Buddha quantum (?) practice
Encompass (connect/ chain to) Heaven practice
Encompass (connect/ chain to) Earth practice
Encompass (connect/ chain to) Man practice
circling/ flying phoenix
Three stars shining on top
Return to one?s full capacity (???) practice
Return to Buddha quantum (?) practice? My knowledge of chinese is really not sufficient for this, my apologies. I hope my garbeld translation gave you nevertheless some more feeling of what this might be about. Did not find any VCD on their site by the way. But if part of the site is in english they sure will respond to possible correspondance via email.
kind regards,

December 2, 2005 at 11:55 am #8902Michael WinnKeymasterBut what’s interesting is how quickly the New Age speak is penetrating into Chinese consciousness – i.e. Quantum Buddha….
What a hoot.
by the way, yoga is bigger in China right now than qigong…..They are just like everyone else, the grass is always greener elsewhere.

I am sure glad I live in the USA where I can still practice what I choose without fear of Government reprisal. I often wonder how greater the Inner Traditions of China would be if all this Cultural Revolution wouldn’t of happened, what it would be like. How far would Spirit Cultivation would of developed. Years ago I studied with a Taoist Master in the Mount Shasta area of Calif. and he was just heart broken from the seperation of Spirituality & energy practices in China. he ended up going into total reclusion from everything.
But I feel right here in our homeland we have what it takes to excel to greatness without the Asian Servitude of Master this or that. America needs to Embrace our “Soul Light Era” now and we have our own movement which I think is just fanatastic.
We all should be greatful to Mantak Chia, Michael Winn, Ron Diana, Master Jou Tsung Hwa, and many others who were brave enough to embrace our own movement & raise the bar of just accepting the mediocre thought patterns of what master so and so said.
They(China) will be back to Qigong, it’s like Peanut Butter & Jelly, 6 months Yoga is hot, and maybe the Olympics will give Tai Chi Chuan Press, and it will gain more steam then so and so will be on PBS selling Qigong. Mike your hit the nail on the head perople cannot see these practices have it all there but there “Monkey Mind” has to drive them to swing from tree to tree looking for the better Banana.
