Since you are quoting me, once again I dont feel you sum up my views accurately. We do not deny any aspect of our life, its all about how we respond to them. In a way we live in this world in all its aspects, physical/mental/emotional/spiritual in a health way, we enjoy that which comes and goes, and we enjoy that which is always with us. We do…[Read more]

Hello my mutliple souled friend:
What I have tried to express is from the view of the our true nature, please read Chapters 2, 19 and 20, to name a few.
We do not deny patterns of nature, one, two, three, etc., we see and experieince them but we know our true nature is not them, they come and go, something always stays, something allows us…[Read more]

The method and type of alchemy you use doesn’t not allow for understanding what Lao Zi is talking about. As he says “my words are simple but difficult to understand”.
I think its incredible speculation to assume others have a greater understanding or achievement than Lao Zi or people of his time frame, I guess this includes Jesus and Buddha, it…[Read more]

Of course *referencing* taoist practices does not mean one has to *privilege* them by stating that they are unique and superior in their understanding of the most basic spiritual ideas, which they are not. I suppose that if one feels the need to do that one can do it, but I myself believe that all pathways to wholeness should be respected – or…[Read more]

This is not really a discussion about self-realization. You cannot answer the question what self means to you, it is irreelevant to your fundamental position. It is about our focusing attention on what the Taoists call wuming, the Nameless.
The TaoTe Ching mentions wu ming, but it also mentions the YouMing, the Named, which is also described…[Read more] -

Since this is a Taoist forum you should expect people to to talk and reference taoist practices, materials and traditions.
Self Realization is just being in the natural state, which we always can do as it always exists. Its just a word, its my attempt to express being natural, normal. Language is always a limiting tool.
Becoming is just a…[Read more]

Tao pratice is not filled with intellectual analysis, conceptual analysis, almost everything you discuss is theory and ideas and concepts, much is to justify a method, a meaning, a theory, an alchemy that can step by step explain the creation of the universe. Everything I read and study and practice in Tao, from Lao Zi to Zhuang Zi to Quan Zhen,…[Read more]

Wu Ji creates Yin-Yuan-Yang, there are always together, some just say Yin-Yang.
One gives life to two, but one is in the two, two gives birth to three, but one is there too. Wu Ji is in two, three, four, five, six, etc. The one is in every manifestion of life and this includes you.

There is no Yin-Yang, there is only Yin/Yuan/Yang.
Life is whole, never separate.

I view this shift itself from limited emotions, etc. to greater cosmic self as an act of transforming the post-natal self into something completely new – a phase of self that never pre-existed before that moment. I see that new greater cosmic self as a totally new…[Read more] -

Within this exploding and imploding there is you, the consciousness that exists during both exploding and imploding, that is your true nature, stay there and enjoy the ebb and flow of life.

One thing about intention. Our life unfolds, in this unfolding is intention, the intention to self realize, to live from our true nature. This is built in to our life, Jing-Shen implies this, Jing intrinsically seeks this, this is just taoist terms to explain this natural process. “I think this is a case of the blind men and the elaphant. Its a story of blind men experiencing different parts of an elephant and assuming its is the whole thing. Hi S:
From my view it is not empty sitting vs alchemy, this is just the way some want to frame the dialogue, no matter how much some of us state different it keeps comming back that way.
