I know the da mo you talk about, its a nice form. Hu’s Tao Teh Ching is quite good and I would recommend it to anybody. It does talks lots about Alchemy. For those dao purists, they may struggle with the buddhist influence, he merges the two.

There are a variety of possibilites. One major one is Spleen Qi deficiency, so diet as someone suggested is a key and doing qi gong to supplement the Spleen and Stomach. Of course stess/liver can be attacking digestion, wood attacking spleen, need to know more.
