Yes this does help a lot!
Interesting about structure…energy, power, rooting. I find the best yoga teachers out there today HAVE TO know all about the energy and even Chinese meridians for me to enjoy their class.
True many DONT know but it seems more are awakening to it as people get more connected these days..
I think the yoga community certainly has not yet really jumped into the whole wonderful benefits of Chi Nei Tsang yet, however.
Interestingly, I think a huge potential is there for this! I mean, bridging the Yoga community with the Chi Nei Tsang one.
I have met a few accomplished yogis that yes, are stellar in their physical practice and solar consciousness but their Tan Tien is a like a lard of stuck energy!!!
This, even though they are flexible in the hips and all. These people certainly lack the energy sophistication because it seems to be absent in most (or all as you say) Indian yoga.
Balance of structure, muscle and flexibility will have to be my mantra if I start training in India. Also, to not let the energy consciousness get away from me.
Interesting that you “switched” instead of doing both, as some do.
It might be interesting to teach the Tai in India! I always had dreams of that 🙂
Thinking they would be real receptive and open to it…

Jernej, okay – interesting. I would like to hear you expand more in proper grammer if you can, and re-read what you wrote to make sure thats what you meant, okay? I think you are onto something if you focus a little more for us.
Thanks,

Care to elaborate on the source? the class? (In case one was to use this for a future class, which it seems to deserve?!)
June 22, 2007 at 1:03 am #22665jsritParticipantinteresting, MPH does it again!
May 3, 2007 at 12:22 am #22036jsritParticipantThis is very interesting! I may have to design a career combining those top 5 somehow, hahaha!

Many do not know the Tao even exists.
My heart goes out to anyone living in such shelter.
I know I was lost until I found the Tao! Can a Taoist Bodhisattva exist? Either way, its all good.

Is that not the sacred feminine?
We have West Point in America, but where is the central point? The Pentagon? The remote viewers who didnt find the weapons of mass destruction? Or the Tao learning experience.
That is, the sacred or cosmic feminine in human potential. Am I making any sense?

April 3, 2007 at 3:15 pm #21870jsritParticipantLoL thanks for the insights Dog!
I realized one of your points as I was falling asleep last night. Instead of setting up a whole new university and dealing with all the beaurocracy, it would be easier to work with established schools that accept this kind of work. Teacher Winn recommends Empire college, but that school is real expensive. I still think a Taoist University for Peace is a grat idea. There is so much important research we could do and are doing?
In my quest for credit in Tao studies, I ended up getting 45 undergrad credits through Goddard college. Perhaps the Healing Tao University should more explictly affiliate itself with other schools that allow for this kind of credit? Perhaps even targeting college age people who are really the heart of our society and able to work for peace with the FORMING DIRECTION of their life?
Many in our society do not beleive in God and I think this is where Taoism needs to step in and rise up! Many are craving for spiritual nourishment and not being fed, they starve and are lost- no diretion.
With Heavenly Mountain sitting dormant most of the year, I must ask myself and the community: What oppotunities to realize Earth peace through individual peace should we recognize? Develop? Cultivate? Nourish? How can our society and intelligencia awaken to the holistic and integral revolution that is inner/world peace of Tao?
I wonder what other colleges you are referring to that enable one to get such degrees/build personalized ones? As far as I know, very few exist and I have investigated them all – please share. Perhaps even call me at 860 202 4919.
“Are you looking for a tenure at a college?”
I still have to do my masters (and perhaps PhD degree) but I am interested in this track and love to get your insights about grad studies or future “career” work. I know that whatever I/we do, it should have a strong idealistic, research and practical component? Education and Tao are made to go together, people are awakening to this (if we speed it up or not)! The whole Taoist alchemy research in relation to global warming thing HAS been on my mind a lot recently. Always funny to switch that up and enjoy the warmth while people may die from it, NOT! (but we do love the warmth?) 🙂
PEACE AND TAO, TAO AND PEACE! One love!
December 3, 2006 at 11:21 pm #19554jsritParticipantI did think of this cranio-sacral idea, that is a good idea.
Also, what Alexander suggests is wise too, I have been working on this. Interestingly, the Awaken Heaking Light book has a lot of information about the Jade Pillow and its subtle energetics. I understand it is also related to the bladder meridian, which might explain something too (I havent had time to really practice my kan and li much recently…) and I have also read that the bladder meridian is the Kundalini force!? Pretty interesting how we can learn so much from illnesses, as long asit goes away I will be happy…I just need to destress. Good idea to see it as a good thing though–gotta reconnect with the Earth fo sho.
ThanksSeptember 17, 2006 at 4:44 pm #18100jsritParticipantYou simply connect to their consciousness. You just think of them and it helps to reoganize the kan and li at a higher frequency through the heart/sun/earth/saturn/moon and then later, the pole star. The planets are just markers.

I have been researching the best way to go about Wu Dang training.
There seems to be a few avenues:
1.
Wudantao.com
The Wu DAng in Fort Collins, Co. They have a one Master Bing living there now to help out training. I am supposed to call and talk to the Master soon to talk about the training opportunities.
2.
The Wu Dang Kung Fu Acadamy in China
This appears to be slightly more expensive than choice 3.
3. Master Yuan
see the link below, also check out his friends on that website…a few Wu Dang Teachers are in America like some dud ein Florida, Yuanming Zhang, Xongxian Wu…Check this out, the teacher from number 3. (somehow connected with 2, I am confused on that.)
