Just another note from one of the Buddhist crossover practitioners.

Jernej, your post is interesting and I agree that one has to be careful when mixing systems. It would be nice if you would elaborate on your point of the differences between the systems. Thanks for your input. I initially came to practising Tibetan style Buddhism after having a natural affinity for shamanic practice and training in traditional yoga ashrams. While in the ashrams I was gettig tired of the people zoning out into blissful janas and not really facing some of the fundamental truths of life. Slowly I began to…[Read more]
