It was a practical function worked out over time by yogis, in his opinion,…[Read more]

I know I’ve said it before, but I think it’s great that you’ve taken the time to organize into that website so much well-considered, clarifying information on alchemy.
Also, I’d like to say in general that I like the debate that’s going on right now; it seems to me like it is really getting down to the nitty gritty of things…[Read more]

I think you may have misunderstood the intent behind the message you just replied to.
I wrote it to clarify a term that was being used a lot and in a way that implied it was being used in the buddhist context, a context I have studied thoroughly and continue to study. However, I do not identify myself as a buddhist; I am more interested in the…[Read more]

I think compassion is like the sun. Saying we don’t have it or don’t need it is like denying the reality of the sun or pretending we don’t need its light.
In my life compassion equates to personal sanity. I feel that I would truly go insane without the feeling of interconnected warmth to others. I have found that affirming compassionate intent…[Read more]

I agree with Rainbow Bear in that we need to have a space with borders wherein basic behaviours of outright attack are considered to be not ok.
Where I don’t agree with sanctioning behaviour is where someone is not given a chance to play by the rules, where the punishment is too black and white and final–this is too insulting and limiting of…[Read more] -
