somlor replied to the topic Visualization vs. Actualization — And Empty Semantics in the forum General 19 years, 4 months ago
There are visualizations you can have and even play with, ie: of your car exploding or an axe chopping at a tree or gremlins running around your lawn. These pictures are not likely related to any useful/powerful process. Merely daydreams. Or brainstorming your next painting or film.

Thelerner,
I don’t believe the organs gods are independent of my mind either, but then again I don’t really believe any god is. I do think that anthropomorphising *anything* is a powerful way to develop a deeper full-body relationship with it. Which is a major reason I love and use Winn’s shen theory even though I don’t take it…[Read more]

Good points. I think there is a danger of scrutinizing spiritual methods in such a way as to cut them up and render them useless. And I agree there is a sad lack of real work being done with the important fields you bring up. I’m not trying to sanitize our Work with the scientific method. My big issue with people like Masaru Emoto is that they are…[Read more]

In most of the things I’ve read over the years, maintaining stillness while engaging in activity has always been considered very advanced. I think one of the reasons the HT forms worked so well for me in the beginning was that they gave my monkey mind so *much* to do that it was mostly silent trying to juggle it all. But over the months as I sunk…[Read more]
