An Introduction to Spirituality and the Tao (Chapter 2)
CHAPTER 2: LIFE-FORCE, THE TAO, AND SPIRITUALITY
From Chapter 1, the universe is guided and directed by a boundless, energetic life-force, also called the chi field. Life is directed by change, and this change is caused by this chi field. This conscious life-energy interacts with…[Read more]

Here we go . . . Steven
——–
An Introduction to Spirituality and the Tao (Chapter 1)
CHAPTER 1: BEYOND SCIENCE
FACT: It is impossible to explain the universe completely through science.
Proof:
By Goedel’s Incompleteness Theorem, any system containing mathematics (i.e. the universe) can not be completely explainable through a…[Read more] -

I don’t think it any coincidence that in the times I
have *not* been single, I happen to notice a lot of
women interested in me.I think that when you are in love, it shows.
. . . and moreover, it makes you more attractive!
You mentioned that you are in love, so maybe this
is the reason for the extra attention.S

I agree.
I listened to a CD series by Pema Chodron, one
of the experienced Buddhist nuns that puts out
instructional books/CDs.She said pretty much what you said, SD.
She said that after decades of meditation, she still
has thoughts arise every so often during it.
The difference is that they sort of pass by unfettered,
and…[Read more] -

Hi Loes,
It’s good that you’ve had the opportunity to get
some breakthroughs and be able to connect with some of the
sources of your anger.I think boundaries are a big key, and in some ways,
I think you’ve stumbled onto the solution to anger.Let me explain why I think so, and possibly
add some other things to consider:In my…[Read more]

I don’t know much about the energetics of it, but
from a medical point of view, the more aroused you are
sexually for a period of time before ejaculating, the
more watery it is.In other words, if you have sex frequently, and there
is not much foreplay, it will come out thick. If
you go awhile without sex and/or spend a lot of time…[Read more] -

“Standard cosmology cannot explain such a giant cosmic hole”
To be honest, standard cosmology can’t explain much.
Contrary to what physicists would like you to believe, they
don’t really understand the universe at all. Physicists
can only account for 10% of the mass in the universe. The
rest of it is so-called “dark matter” and “dark…[Read more] -

Well, I think he has done as best as he could.
For one, there is a little bit of a language barrier.
Two, not being born a westerner, he doesn’t
understand the western mind as well as say Michael.Three it is really hard to get a complete picture from a book alone–
it’s better than absolutely nothing, but you really need to
learn…[Read more] -

pretty depressive. Actually I’m usually pretty happy.wendy must have hit some nerve…[Read more]

Hi SD,
Yeah, in your case, I’d recommend avoiding it.
However, don’t beat yourself up too much because you
started going back to it. You’re only human. If you
quit again, so be it, but don’t attack yourself so
much for things that you do.Sometimes we put such high demands on ourselves and
beat ourselves up so much over…[Read more] -

I would classify an addiction as something that
you do regularly, have difficulty stopping, and
have extreme discomfort if you do stop.Three cups of coffee in a week doesn’t sound like
a lot to me, but then again only you would know if
it is an addiction or not.As for me, I used to have several addictions–caffeine
being one of…[Read more] -

You mention that you are interested in, but don’t know much about his

I’m not sure that you would save that much energy from
retaining the sperm. I think most of the energy is
lost through the ejaculatory orgasmic response. The
microscopic sperm don’t play much role in the energy
expulsion in my opinion. However, if you are worried about conception, then a
vasectomy is an extremely effective way to…[Read more] -
