>>>Were all three forms formulated by Mantak Chia?
Yes and no.
Master Chia learned all kinds of Tai Chi forms from many different Tai Chi masters.
Of these, he selected three that he liked.
Then he shortened these and turned them into the Tai Chi Qigong forms that we practice in the Healing Tao.Tai Chi 2-3 has not changed much at all…[Read more]

I would agree that obsession is a spleen issue, but I would say that addiction is a different animal entirely.
Of course, once you have an imbalance in one of the organ systems, it can trigger others as secondary reactions. For example, fear (kidneys) can generate anxiety (spleen). Anxiety (spleen) can cause depression (lungs). So when one…[Read more]

Walking is one of the top 3 premier ways of positively nurturing the wood element.
Wood is the element of growth and where fresh ideas come from.
They call something new as “green” for no reason.S

>>>No DST on April 20, 1985.
Strange. Usually we shift to DST in the spring, namely in early April (or now March). I would have expected that your 5pm time was in Daylight Saving Time . . . although I know a few states opt out (and have in the past).

Maybe it is the same one.
After all, if you are external to the universe, you are also external to time.Or not. 😉

Hi FT,
Your other post re: Chinese Astrology was a blank page, so I deleted it.
Is the 5:26PM for your birth time during Daylight Saving Time?
You should check on this.S

Hmm . . . TWO Scorpios.
Well, *at least* TWO (since you only posted part of it).
So it seems likely that my comments about Scorpion influences were also correct. 😉
The Scorpio in Saturn is quite potent, as Saturn drives evolution . . . just as an fyi.

Based on some additional posts of yours, my comments of “you maybe wanting to say something but being simultaneously afraid to do so” is fairly accurate. Am I right on this?
Let me tell you a little story.
When I was a small child, my grandmother told me stories about her childhood. Apparently, back then, it was considered “sinful” to be…[Read more]

The strange thing about this book is that it is impossible to find out anything about it. Maybe it is not of this world. 😉

Yes, humor is a way to help point people to the idea of not taking anything too seriously. It helps break down rigid ego-based ideas of how things “are supposed to be”. People drop their guard and a more authentic expression of themselves (through laughter) presents itself.
There is a whole practice of “laughing qigong” in the Healing Tao…[Read more]

Really all a person needs is a set of spiritual practices . . .
Something that one can actually DO.
The rest is just technical and analytic detail that doesn’t serve as anything other than food for the mind. Ultimately not terribly important, except as maybe a guide to choosing the right practices when first starting out.S

Hi Fool Turtle,
I’m not exactly sure what your comments after the video were about.
Were they about the singer, or was it a subtle commentary about yourself in reference to my original post regarding the possible sexuality component in my tips of self-evaluation? No judgment either way . . . just unclear of your intention.By the way, I…[Read more]

We need a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United vs. FEC and McCutcheon vs. FEC. But as the number of individual voices that echo that lament grow, eventually it will reach a critical mass.

Exactly. Choosing “not-to-vote” is a choice.
Neither one of the two political parties matches my views exactly, but one party (in particular) backs 80% of things I hate, so it makes my choice easy. Somewhat of an unrealistic situation given the broad community of millions.
However, if everyone else (except for 2 or 3) chose to be apathetic, then that is also their free choice. 🙂 They have that right also. However, when you make a choice, you are not free from the consequences of that choice.…[Read more] - Load More
