Michael Winn replied to the topic Is porn actually good for you? (article) in the forum General 15 years, 2 months ago
I myself don’t have any judgement about it in an abstract context, and think that it can be beneficial in releasing sexual repression. The Chinese literati certainly looked at erotic drawings for pleasure, and I think naked bodies are pleasurable to view.
But several caveats:
1. It’s the thought forms associated with the erotica that…[Read more]

This was a study done by Japaenese scientists – that the biomass that is being recycled in the magma is dead bacteria.

Wolfgang,
I think the ormus research is quite interesting and personally have nothing against tking substancesthat might temporarily speed up one’s chi flow, if there areno deleterious side effects (i.e most drugs exhaust your jing).
Iformus is effect is really intention-based, then that suggests the claims are not really valid. Or perhaps…[Read more] -

Michael Winn replied to the topic General Question: What About Launching Burial Pods into the Sun? in the forum General 15 years, 3 months ago
Physically sending your body to the sun has little to do with reincarnation. Your probing is intuitively correct, in my view. I teach people to energetically enter into the core of the sun in the Greatest Kan and Li. So doing it consciously, while alive, is the way to have maximum impact.

As a way to cremate someone’s body, I must say it is quite imaginative, but prohibitively expensive. It would certainly raise the vibe of your ashes, if there were any left. I myself don’t think it’s worth the effort, better to spend it on cultivating oneself and then not worrying about what’s left behind, as it won’t be much.

Thanks for this – most interesting was soliton wave flowing thru core of DNA helix – which incidentally, are in RINGS,not free-floating helixes.

Michael Winn replied to the topic Female Orgasm – An Evolutionary Mystery (Scientific American article) in the forum Philosophy 15 years, 4 months ago
As Wilhelm Reich proposed, Orgasm is at the Creative Center of the Cosmos. I believe Taoist Yin-Yang Theory says the same: creation IS orgasm. Sex is minor echo of that, but can be amplified to capture it.

I agree with you about the depersonalization, Rainbowbear.
Nice to feel your passion about life here.
I doubt you will give up that passion to slide down an ice flow into eternity.
My mother used to say that same type of thing. But when it came down to it, the survival instinct rears its head.

Well said. And that lack of substance is threatening the continuation of the current economic system. It may look like a disaster, closeup. But part of a rebirthing cycle of the Tao. The dollar will likely be devalued within two years. Protect yourself now, store some gold, which is non-corruptible substance, the alchemists’ choice.

Not keeping you waiting intentionally. Just got back to the states.

Chris,
I do mention GUT Grand Unified Theory as being incomplete in the paper. The whole paper could be expanded easily into a book – but i already went 5 pages over the paper length limit for the conference…and why write abook about it, when all that matters is refining one’s practice, and sharing it?

Steven,
How did you have yourself tested for L-R brain dominance? That might be interesting (if its cheap enough) to test many Western Daoists….
Carlo was not saying time and space’s illusion would end change; just that it would be a different, more direct relationship.
