In Chicago the sun (& moon) rise over Lake Michigan. There is usually a small crowd by my local beach to see the red autumn full moon rise over the lake.

I also keep my feet pointed about 45 degrees. Unlike ‘furey’ squats I find it much more comfortable to keep my feet(heels) flat on the ground. I can’t go as low, but as you practice them you do get lower.
I do them at a slowly and do the ocean breathing exercise mentioned in Winns Fundamental video with them.
Peace

Winn is as close to the tao as any one I’ve ever met. Taoists have always respected and admired things that the common man would overlook or disdain. I think Lao Tzu comments in the Tao Te Ching, about the virtue of a crooked tree, because its wood is twisted, nobody cuts it down, it grows and thrives because of its useless to man.

Before I fall asleep, I’ve been ‘breathing up’ my small toes, up the sides of legs, to my crown then down my center line to my hara. Then breathing up each toe in til I am am at the big toes breathing up the following the inside of my leg, up to the crown then down to the hara.

South Park is my guilty pleasure #9.
They had one episode where Starvin Marvin tries to find sanctuary for his people among enlightened aliens. The Aliens spoke in only one world, Markbar.
Everything is Markbar. Everything and everyone was Markbar, I think the only exception was the one who got eaten by a lion, he said,
“Oh, Markbar :(…[Read more] -

I couldn’t agree with you more. I remember reading about miracle cures from India and Russia. Meantime the life expectancy at the time in India was late 40’s. Russia was barely 60’s and falling fast. Whatever gems they have are buried by a lot of soot.
Nothing is altogether new. Every generation has its self help fads, its new age guru…[Read more]

You will be missed, but good idea. Commit, do, smile and grow. Each day a new chance, each month a new beginning, each year a new birth 🙂
Bodri the devil? May be giving him more credit then he deserves 🙂
Personally I admire his knowledge, but don’t like the way he grades (down grades) others learning and systems.Peace

I was disliked the ‘new’ Kung Fu series they updated. They writers lost any taoist influence and just made the older Caine into there idea of a super man.
In the old series, he lost fights, the people he ‘rescued’ were often killed. He didn’t know what to do, but would flow and follow the way to the best he could.
