Are You Dancing Your 2013 Change?

Dear Lovers of the Natural Way of Change (Tao),

The theme today is DANCING. Many of us will go to New Year’s Eve parties and dance. Dance for what purpose?

To celebrate CHANGE. That makes us all Taoists. Tao is the study of the cycles of change, and how to harness it to complete our highest destiny.

Here’s a lovely example of how change can inspire us. To see my bride Jem dancing her joy at the changes in her life, here is the correct link (failed in the last newsletter). It is filmed in Red Wall Cavern, deep within the Grand Canyon. Barry Spendlove, Healing Tao senior instructor from Wales, is one of the flutists. This video clip is from our honeymoon trip (Denali-Grand Canyon geo-spiritual axis) last summer, so I still call her my bride 🙂

The change from 2012 to 2013 is set by the calendar of Pope Gregory. So it is not “natural” in the sense of the Winter Solstice being a natural beginning of a new solar cycle of growing light.

But humans are an important part of Nature, so when billions of us get together and “Dance our Change”, it becomes a Big Natural Event. There is a huge wave of Chi (Qi) generated around the planet as the different time zones hit midnight Dec. 31st and the crowds go wild for a few minutes.

I believe the reason most people can NOT keep their New Year’s resolutions to CHANGE their lives is because they blow off a lot of chi at the Dec. 31 party, then go home to sleep. They wake up tired. They failed to capture the Human Wave of Chi and put it to work for them in making valuable positive CHANGE in their life. It is like eating a great meal, but missing the nourishing essence of the main course.

That is why I so strongly recommended doing a ceremony on Winter Solstice and capturing that natural wave of chi, amplified this year by alignment with the Milky Way’s Galactic Center and all the Mayan hoopla. Powerful moments come and go all the time.

But are you letting the Universe (via the Life Force) know that you truly want to download it into your body-mind, and make that high cosmic energy a FUNCTIONAL part of your everyday life?

I don’t know if others have mentioned it, but my sense after this Solstice is that the Cosmic Torus energy is getting higher in frequency, thicker, and exponentially more powerful.  It’s starting to feel more like I’m swimming in water rather than detecting “subtle” energy.  It ain’t so subtle anymore.

Michael note: Torus is the donut shape that allows a simultaneous yin-in and yang-out flow of chi between our bodies and the cosmos. In Tao inner alchemy we learn to concentrate our individual essence in the center of that shape.

I especially love these 2 Solstice newsletters! Your Mayan calander writings are some of the best I’ve read & I’ve read many of those 300 books and hundreds of channeling’s on the subject. My take on the whole thing is much like what you’ve just presented-  it’s an opportunity to chose a timeline, which one do we want? I chose the new emerald-expanded earth & all the good stuff that goes with it!
This is a really sweet time for me. When I found your teachings, I set a goal to study all of your home study courses by this date, 12/21/2012 & I have succeeded! I set my intention in a little ceremony, spoke my words & felt the Earth & my entire world move. It felt like a ship that broached & came upright intact. I got a really, really strong response! Then I wondered “what have I just done?” as the water heater broke, the kitchen drain plugged up & the ridiculous new TV we had just bought ourselves for Christmas broke!
I don’t read much about inner alchemy, I just practice from your tapes. I feel like a new, happier, more slender version of myself since that day. I never knew I could feel so good at age 62! It’s a true second spring. It does require some investment of time & effort. Thank you so much for your work, it is just what I was looking for.

Mayan double-headed serpent on a scarf i bought in the Mexico City National Museum. Are we now moving into a “writhing serpent” phase of doubled-speed change?

We are still riding the “tail” of the Black Yang Water Dragon. The Year of Black Female Water Snake begins Feb. 10, 2013 (lunar New Year) and Feb. 4 (solar/monthly calendar).

I’m using the Dec. 31, 2012 party to “boost” the intention I set at Winter Solstice, and give it a good ride on the Dragon’s tail into the Year of the Snake. Snakes are wise, and internally filled with wriggly fire, which will make for a very alchemical 2013 as the fire nature of the Snake interacts with the Yin Water cycle of the Year. Fire + Water = powerful alchemical transformation. I will of course write more about this in February 2013.

What’s the best way to capture the New Year’s chi wave, and put it to work in manifesting your FOCUSED INTENTION for 2013 Snake cycle? That all depends on your skill level. Students of my homestudy or live retreats will have many qigong forms and meditations available to choose from.

Feel the wave generated by your own dance and that of people around you, or just feel the general flow in the field from the planetary celebration. Use the Inner Smile to focus the wave into your solar plexus, which is the center of WILL. Let it flow into a ball of golden light that you visualize there. You need a vessel to capture and hold the vibration, and a “pearl” or “chi ball” is an easy one to create.

After you feel the charge building there, lower the ball of golden light down into your navel center, the dantian, to ground it into your personal center of gravity. Then say verbally your clear intention of what you want to create with that increased energy in your life.
