Nature feels sexy in Spring….as green wood element absorbs solar fire, it expands and dances. Are you dancing with it?

Dear Lovers of that Sexy Spring Feeling,

We passed the May 5th mid-point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice, which Taoists consider the true Beginning of Summer. It’s one of the eight powerful nodal points in the “living bagua” of Nature’s time cycle, the Solstices and Equinoxes and their four midpoints.

In other cultures, it is celebrated with May day dances around a maypole (Celtic Beltaine), and if you are lucky, orgiastic rites to let some of that sexual steam off. The new moon on May 3 was the most powerful conjunction with this solar node. Dive into your dark magnetic force, and liberate its power to flow into your outer life!!!

That’s all fun. But there is always another Way: capture the essence of the Chi (Qi) at the May nodal point, and put it to work internally to expand your spiritual process. So celebrate your sexual liberation after a long cold winter, then settle down and meditate. With your lover, of course. That’s what I’m doing, anyway….and hoping this is the sprouting seed that leads to Conscious Conception. :).

In April we had a  powerful build up with two Fusion workshops. Fusion 1 harmonized and concentrated the power of the vital organ spirits, and Fusion 2/3 cultivated the deep channels of pre-natal energy. It ramped up our chi flow in the Macro-cosmic Orbit (8 Extra-ordinary Vessels linked together), that connects our outer and inner self.

The Fusion practices let us take full advantage of Nature’s pulsating cycles. We learned to absorb Spring’s expansive chi, and played with it internally. That’s what I love about Taoist alchemy: you merge deep into Nature’s hiidden process. It’s an exhilarating ride that never ends.
