Hello, i have two questions, and i hope you are able to answer them.
1. What is the taoist view on out-of-body experiences? The reason i ask is because there seem to be two views out there what oobes actually are. One view thinks that you can leave your body from a light trance and from that actually leave your body. (The Robert Bruce view, maybe you’ve seen his site astraldynamics.com)
The other view thinks the first view is incorrect, and that you only dream that you leave your body. And real oobes are the ones you get from a trance deeper then deep sleep trance, and you lower your brainwaves to less then deltawaves, leave your body, and if you want you can go deeper and actually kill yourself this way.
So i want to know which one of those two views taoism consider the accurate one and why.
2. A question about talent. What is the taoist view on talent for meditation? I want to know if you belive talent doesn’t exist (the common western view that everyone can learn and master it) or that talent exist and if it does, how important it is.
