I have a question about the 6 healing sounds. Can the heart sound be done on its own or should it only be done with the other sounds?. Thanks in advance to anyone who may reply.
Jeff
It’s perfectly fine to do on its own.
If you feel an imbalance in your heart, too much
heat, too much impatience, whatever, then it is
point of the sound to release it. Heart sounds
while feeling impatient in traffic is a good application.
Creation cycle/all 6 sounds is reserved for when you
have some dedicated time and you want to clear
out all organ systems and not miss anything in the
five element flow. It is nice, but not required
for healing sound application.

Thanks Steven! I thought so but I wanted to hear it from someone who knows. I’m new to the practice and have been studying diligently as I begin each new exercise but I can only get so much out of the books. I’m at the point where I can do the Inner Smile and 6 Healing Sounds without referencing anything.
At some point, coming into contact with an instructor–
even if only to get questions answered, becomes essential.
Good to hear about the progress with your practice.
Keep it up!
Steven
Great to hear you have been able to learn what you have from the books.
I would love to work with an instructor, but I live near Cincinnati, OH. My plan is to move to Asheville within the next 5 years, which is ironically where Michael Winn and Healing Tao USA are located. I just found this out last week, after I’ve been reading and learning through Mantak Chia’s work for a few weeks now. The path begins to unfold…
Sounds like a plan 😉
At the same time, no need to wait.
In the meantime, you can order his homestudy materials,
audio and video products . . . you can learn faster and
better than from a book.
Moreover, Michael has weekend workshops in the Fundamentals
in the fall, you could always drive there. From Cincinnati,
it is about 6 hours of driving . . . leave Friday at 6pm
and still get in by midnight. 🙂 I know that sounds like
a lot of driving, but I’ve gone to Asheville for several
workshops and live in Michigan–11 to 12 hours from Asheville,
double the distance.
At any rate, best wishes to your studies. 😉
