Medical and Spiritual Qigong (Chi Kung)

Home › Forum Online Discussion › Practice › 8 extra channels qi gong
I have been practicing 8 extra channels qigong, I learned from fusions dvd_s, reguraly.
MW, I think, does not explain the breathing in this set … or maybe I overlooked it.
The way I do this set is, that I connected the breath and the movement. For me somehow fit the best a reverse breath patern duting the movements …
Probably there are more options to do 8 extra channels qi gong …
Any feedback and experiences are welcome… 😉
Best, Jox 🙂
No fixed breathing pattern that I’m aware of . . . just relaxed comfortable breathing throughout. That said, if you have found a breathing pattern that you feel works for you and enhances the form, then no harm in adding it.

… 🙂
I should try relaxed comfortable breathing throughout too …
Do you use visualisation too … like driving the pearls troughout the pathways?

Yes, and in fact that is how Michael teaches it currently when he teaches it live. He then uses that as a warmup for doing the sitting meditation practices.
