Hi,
I have got a question to the more experienced ones…
Is it ok to start a creation cycle from the Wood phase (for example in the Six Healing Sounds practice) as it is the phase associated with the beginning? Just like the 24 hour-cycle of chi circulating in he body starts with the Gall Bladder and Liver…

That is an interesting question.
Chia’s instructions begin the inner smile and healing sounds with the lungs, but begin fusion with opening the heart.
I tend to start with the organ that I feel/think of first. That is probably the organ/phase/intelligence that is either the most vibrant or the most stressed. If I started somewhere else for some reason of logic, part of me would still be thinking about the one that first came to me.
But, this is all about play. Try beginning with different organs at different times, and find out how your being reacts. Does it all end up at the same place, after you’ve done the cycle a few times?
And, your name sounds familiar…is a “welcome back” in order?

i echo voice’s view. as you deepen your relationship with the shen, they will guide you. sometimes i don’t even do all the sounds if the shen tell me it isnt necessary. sometimes only one sound. sometimes you can do them while waiting in line or driving a car. have fun with it. listen to the shen and learn from them, become good friends with them. they’re the ones who put you tgether afterall.
what i find at my current level of practice is hat i can never do any of them in isolation. they seem to combine simultaneously and spontaneously. for example, i can be doing a healing sounds practice, but simultaneously i’ll see and feel the fusion and kan and li going on was well.

to add to all of the above excellent replies:The Healing Sounds begin with lungs because at birth, when the umbiliical cord is cut, and we take our first breath, it begins the post natal cycle for us.
The 12 hour daily cycle belongs to earth (Terrestrail cycle). The wood element is linked with the east and rising sun. Its not visible at midnight, but yin is shifting to yang as sun begins to pull the chi up.
