I had a breakthrough today with the Wood Element and I have included two images below.
Previously I had been using the top image, a verdant forest image, which was okay but I wasn’t really feeling it somehow, amongst other things it doesn’t show the trees growing, it just shows the trees.
But I experimented with the bottom image, which is magical and fertile, sexual somehow and it felt fantastic. Growing is a sort of magical process of creation, of the unknown mystery of bringing something new into being.
Often I have felt blocked in the growing department, in the wood element, liver. I have tried for years to resolve and unblock, but I believe today my vision of it was wrong. Growth is magical, and without that sense of creative-sexual-magical then any growth would be a pale shadow of the real power of Wood.
I suppose in our society we are pressed into “growing” along it’s materialistically defined lines, and the cause of Wood blockages is not just that we are often blocked, but that we do not see the world as a magical place of creation. We do not believe in our magic.
Perhaps sex is also seen in a brutal material bodyparts way, rather than as part of the magic of creation and the unknown forest.
