Hi,
Just looking for any leads to be able to hook up with people actively involved in experimental energy / Chi detection research. Discussion boards, people, etc.
I have been doing both research on past work as well as doing my own. Not looking at measuring effects and changes in traditional measures of heartbeat, respiration, brainwave frequency, etc. but regarding the subtle realm itself whether it be various aspects of chi or inner sound.
Thanks,
Matt

You might want to take a look at this article – “How Far Can Ki-energy Reach?A Hypothetical Mechanism for the Generation and Transmission of Ki-energy” at this link:
http://ecam.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/nem102v1
I have only done a quick scan the rest of the journal (latest issue TOC) but it looks interesting.
Chi,

I am not sure of the links, but Oxford, Harvard, and Stanford all have programs for researching Qi and subtle energy. I am not sure how to contact them or get involved in the program but I know they all are researching Qi. I think that Harvard was actually working with Bruce Frantzis for a while. I read some thing about how the research showed that most people didn’t like the work because it made their guts stick out and they found that having their bellies sticking out was not worth the benefits that Qi Gung might provide. Funny how vain people can be. Anyway if you find out any info please share it. Until thenPeace & Tao

Awe, then I must have been doing something right as my belly sticks out a bit 🙂
Thanks for the info, Matt

I’m new to this forum and wanted to chime in here…
Google Hiroshi Motoyama. He’s written a couple books and has a center in Encinitas, CA called the California Institute for Human Science. Besides his leading edge device for measuring PSI and KI, he’s a Shinto priest who has had many subtle energy experiences so he takes a more holistic approach than a typical scientist. May be a good place to contact… Good luck.
